H.: Al ver que la manguera que utilizo actualmente empezó a agrietarse exteriormente aunque todavía sirve muy bien consideré el hecho de reemplazarla, aproveché que en el recién pasado Amazon Day tenía un buen preció y la compré, cuando la recibí observé que tanto la caja de envío de Amazon como la original estaban maltratadas y por un momento pensé que el porta manguera tendría algún daño pero no fue así, la revisé y probé varias veces que el mecanismo de retención funcionara y no hubo problema alguno, funciona muy bien y estoy satisfecho por la compra, la manguera es muy flexible, nada que ver la que tengo que es muy rígida y estoy muy satisfecho por la compra. La recomiendo ampliamente. Actualmente estoy fabricando un soporte para instalarla sobre mi compresor Dewalt, una vez que lo termine compartiré una imagen de cómo quedó.

T. AlisankusT. Alisankus: The 'nuts' on the hose fittings are too close to the 'bulge' from the crimp. This results in there not being enough room to completely tighten a tool fitting to the hose fitting. What happens is, because of the thickness of the wrenches (standard Craftsman wrenches), you end up tightening the 'tool' fitting onto the wrench that is being used on the 'hose' fitting. See photo, which I hope shows what I'm trying to explain. I used 5 wraps of Teflon tape, and yet could have continued to tighten this tool to the hose--except, it started tightening the tool onto the wrench being used on the 'hose' nut. I actually found an old, 'cheap' wrench, which was thinner, that allowed me to get one more turn in. No air leaks, so the problem is solved. BUT, I purchased this hose reel almost exclusively on Dewalt's reputation; I'm surprised this passed Dewalt's testing.
