Jamal: Comes with everything ya need pretty much. What I will say is that the unit is plastic, so you want to be mindful while using it. Repeatedly scratching or chipping the unit with the hole saw will probably have an adverse affect over time. If you're careful not to do that, it could potentially be useful for ever.

Jennifer: Easy to use and good value. Easy for someone who doesn’t have experience installing locks. The guide holds firmly in place and made installation easy. The bimetal held up well going through exterior metal door and appears it should last several uses. I’d definitely recommend this lock install kit and for the price, it’s a good value. I’m glad I went with this brand.

Jackson: We have never needed to install a doorknob/deadbolt hole before, as we've always had doors with pre-drilled holes. However, living in an old house has fun challenges - this being one of them.

This kit made it super easy line up and drill the holes in the correct spots without guessing or having to rig something up to do it correctly. The hard part now it just chiseling the spots for the strike plate, but this made drilling the holes a beginner-level task!

Amazon Customer: This product worked great and the bits provided were strong enough for our wood door that has a thin metal sheet on either side. It got the job done, but it’s certainly not foolproof. They give almost no useful instructions on how to use this product. We couldn’t figure out how to change the backset until much too late so now the preexisting doorknob and our new deadbolt don’t exactly line up. That might be on us, but it would be nice if the company made it a little more user friendly or gave some more instruction!! The biggest issue we had though was removing one drill bit to replace with the other. That part added an extra hour or so to our work and was extremely frustrating and difficult and my husband’s arm got pretty cut up in the process. I’m not sure how the company could solve this problem but it almost made us give up on the whole project and call in a professional. Thankfully, we only needed to do this once for one single door.

All in all, it got the job done for a good price but caused injury and extended frustration. If you use this I recommend finding many many YouTube videos to use as your instructions since you don’t get much with the box.
