When the battery goes out on your expensive cordless finish nailer, what do you do? Bite the bullet and buy another (pricey) battery is what I did. I have been impressed by how long the gun will operate on a single charge- all day with near constant use. I don't use this battery daily, or even weekly, so I didn't get that much use out of the original battery. I'd estimate it got used twenty times per year and lasted about seven years, so ~140 uses for $99. I saw a number of Li batteries for sale around $40, but several commenters warned against them as not appropriate for the DeWalt tool. I don't know about them, but this battery works well.

Don’t buy cheap replacement off brand batteries. Most do not have the power and do not stand up to any long usage or multiple charges.

It charges and perform like first set that came with my tools no complaints other than it’s heavy costly could be a little more reasonable for price for equipment that’s been a little over tens years old with it hard to find same exact model to go with original set ; especially with other cheaper compatible batteries out there to purchase.

Very disappointed, had trouble getting this item anyway, was assured by the supplier that its a genuine item, but I'm not convinced, it gets very hot when being charged with my original battery charger, and definitely doesn't last as it should, so I wouldn't recommend it.

The product is a good one, the brand is A1. However the price is higher than I expected. About $20 more than original priced at $99. The first two replacements of these I bought were 2 - $149. Now one is $119.
