Steven L. Major: First off, to help anyone that is going to buy this, it does NOT come with the "guts", namely, the "Delta Faucet R10000-UNBX MultiChoice(R) Universal Tub and Shower Valve Body."
If you're accustomed to buying these things are large-box home improvement centers, you'll note that their kits come complete with the above. The don't sell one without the other. This bit us kind of hard, not realizing it. We ended up with this kit without a valve and a contractor waiting. We bought it at "big box home improvement" and had to return this, unfortunately.
That said, if you've got a delta already and are upgrading/changing from say chrome to bronze, you're probably good to go with just this and will save about $40 as of this writing not needing the valve kit.
Functionally, it's awesome and looks great. With the large surface shower head for this and others, just make sure your water pressure is up to snuff and you'll be all set.
