landr007: Bought these as a Valentine’s Day present for my husband. I thought they would be something nice and different, a change from the usual bag of his favorite candy I buy him. He loved these! In fact he was so fond of them he hid them and refused to let anyone else try any. He ate every last one himself. Will definitely buy them again.

I was shopping at Amazon for Valentine gifts for my husband: picked out two things for him and chose your brand of cookies for us (me). They were sooooo good. We shared them over two weeks time and savored every bite. I used to like a good piece of dark chocolate with my nightly glass of wine, but your cookies with a dry red wine are even better!

I grew up with a mom who loved to bake; at Christmas she made 20 different kinds of cookies and shared them with neighbors, friends and family. She stopped baking when she moved into a senior care apartment (is now 94), but still loves her sweets. I will have to order more and share them with her.

christopher: I bought these as a gift for someone's birthday and they so GRACIOUSLY shared them. They were wonderful, crunchy, crumbly, chocolately. The toppings where great. So why not 5 stars? Of all the first world problems, complaining about overpriced chocolate cookies seems silly, but.....
honest questions need to be answered, each "cookie" costs ~ $2.33. They seemed smaller than I pictured. Is it worth it? Maybe. Is it convenient? Absolutely. But for that price point you could provide a lot more "wow" by just melting chocolate over other cookies. This is a gift of pure convenience. A tasty gift, but if you are tight on money there are much better investments to make, even with saltines. It would break my heart if someone scraped together enough money for a gift and they paid too much.
