Kindle Customer: I loved these, how ever I wouldn't order these as a gift or for q special occasion only because I got 3 different dates for delivery and I'm not sure if that is Amazon or the company. I was under the impression I would get them the next day or day after when I ordered (Wednesday/ Thursday) But then date changed and I was just told Monday, so I adjusted and they showed up on my door step Friday? Over all they are good for just a treat for my family.

LisaLisa: I wanted to try these little treats ever since I saw them on some TV show, but I didn’t even know what they were called! As a side note, these are macarons, a meringue-like treat with made with egg whites and almond flour and different flavors of fillings. Not to be confused with macaroons which are the coconut based cookies.
Once I learned their name, I was delighted to find them on Amazon after I had no luck finding a local baker that made these. Still there were many choices on Amazon and I picked a couple to try.
I’ve never eaten macarons before, so I can’t compare them to fresh out of the oven, hand-made-in-Paris macarons (which I understand are the best way to enjoy them). But I can compare between macarons shipped with and without refrigeration. I ordered two sets of macarons as a birthday present as I wasn’t sure which one would arrive on time (the birthday was an excuse to spend the money on these indulgences). ;)
