Robin:
I've ordered these bagels about 6 times over several months time. All but the last one were listed as sold/shipped by Great Low Carb Bread Co. I was very satisfied with them. The package that arrived yesterday were listed as sold/shipped by another company. They were oddly bagged, shaped, too soft and, like photos others have already posted, moldy. I won't try them again until there has been an obvious change or explanation. These two packages were inedible.
Additional review for subsequent order: Bagels were vacuum sealed - totally flattened. I threw them outside for the wild birds since they cannot be returned.

BP: This bagel looks like a real bagel but is far from one. However it is a great alternative to a real bagel. It is what it says it is: a low-carb bread product. It's light like air but does the trick if you are missing having breakfast sandwiches. I lightly toast it, put light cream-cheese on it, 2oz. of lox and it looks and smells like the real deal, but it is so much lower in calories - only 250 for the whole sandwich - and doesn't weigh you down as it has far more protein grams (29) than carb grams (18). It's nice to have something resembling bread when you are on low-carb diet. The customers service is excellent by the way, they let me know that the flavor I picked (sesame) was close to expiring and asked me what I wanted to do. I opted in to ordering the Everything flavor and it was shipped fast. I keep the sliced up stash in my freezer (be sure to have enough freezer space for 6-7 medium sized bagels), so they stay fresh as I need them.

PensFan: For someone who is looking for a low-carb way to keep bagels in their life, this is a good choice. They are not exactly bagel-like -- they are much lighter, for example -- but for the way I use them (in a sandwich maker, to make a morning breakfast sandwich) they taste and work fine. I keep them frozen, and pop one in the microwave for 20 seconds to thaw. Slice, and then use like a bagel. When I switched to a low-carb diet, the hardest thing for me to give up was my morning breakfast sandwich; now, it's back, and life is good again. Thanks,Great Low Carb Baking Company!

Grace:
What did I expect? I have been following a low-carb diet lifestyle for quite some time, and I am always game for trying a new product that will let me feel like I am cheating, without derailing my diet competely.
I bought these based on the excellent reviews. I couldn't wait to toast one, slather it with butter and enjoy. Now that I've had the opportunity to do just that?
Meh.
First, I am no stranger to disappointment regarding low-carb bread substitutes. There have been a few that have far exceeded my expectations (hello Chompies!) but some have been soul-crushingingly bad, and most have been just okay. This bagel falls into the 'just okay' category.
It looks like a bagel, but you know as soon as you pick it up, it isn't the same. It lacks the weight and density of a bagel. After toasting, it is airy and a bit dryer than I would have hoped. Sort of a cross between styrofoam and bread. The taste is rather bland.
All of this said, if you're really in need of a bread fix, you'll eat this all the same. I don't think I will be ordering this particular item again though.
I did receive this with a bag of their Onion...

Kim M.: Bagels arrived in a package and not a box. Obviously they were crushed beyond salvage. Crushed bagels, no flavor and dried out. I should have known better than to place an order with this company, the reviews speak loudly enough. As everyone has been saying, don’t waste your money on this company!
