Efrem Zecharias: It is very well made with strong boss connections and easy installation

Hello Mrs.: Easy to install initially. I like the concept, but it’s fallen out on a few occasions. Sick of that sort of occurrence with lint flying all over the laundry room, so I had to tape it to the wall. That said, it’s just an overpriced dryer duct to me. I do like the semi rigid duct, though. I’ve had it for 3+ years.

DanielSimDanielSim: Item abit crushed though packing box intact, looks like factory already nicked. Also after full extension, you dont get full 8ft.

niffer16: I ordered a dryer and when they delivered it(6 days late) they had the wrong power connection and left in a hurry with no vent hose..so I was already frustrated, BUT I ordered this on Amazon and 2 days later it came. I just came home from working a long 11 hours today and knew I had to hook it up. To my surprise this product is AMAZING. Took me about 30 seconds to screw on end caps. Had my father in law hold one side while I pulled the other to stretch the 8ft. Side note, don't pull hard, it's strong material, but still can rip easy. Took me about 10 seconds to hook it up to my dryer and another 10 seconds to hook it up to the output. The job took less the 5 mins with ease. I paid 10 dollars for this and hands down worth every penny.

William Erskine: Our dryer had the 'slinky'-foil exhaust duct originally. Those are lint traps in and of themselves and are easily pinched off and impede airflow. So, if your goal is to smash your dryer back against a wall as far as you can, buy more 'slinky' duct. This duct is not for you!
This duct kit is a good compromise between ridged, cut to fit duct and 'slinky' duct. But it needs to be handled properly when installing.
Hint 1: To install the white hose caps, gently expand the end of duct end from the edge for about 1/2". That will spread the ribs of the duct enough to for the threads on the inside of the end-cap to screw on. Note that the end-cap screws on in the opposite direction than what you would think (there's a arrow molded into the cap.) You'll need to hold the duct firmly (without crushing) to screw the end-cap on. You can do it yourself if you have big hands but you may need a helper for this. I did it by sitting down with the duct across my lap and hugging the duct against my gut while twisting on each end-cap (it will get quite hard to turn).
Hint 2: The end-caps have a flange to prevent you from crushing the hose against the wall for the...

Ricky C.: I, like another user, have a dryer that sits close to the rear wall, and yes, this vent’s collars that affix to the dryer and vent outlet prevent me from pushing the dryer back further lest I crush the hose itself. In other words, this hose does what the company claims it’ll do and what it’s designed to do.

When my plumber came over to check my dryer hook-ups (I converted my gas dryer to run on propane) and noticed I didn’t have clamps on my vent hose, I asked him to check that part of the setup too. His words: “Wow — that hose is on there good and tight on both ends! Wouldn’t have thought that was possible!” (And I didn’t even have to use the included gasket.) The hose does what the company claims it’ll do and what it’s designed to do.

The connectors must be attached to the hose by the user, and it was tricky for a bit until I realized the hose itself is threaded like a screw, and that with gentle hands, the connectors screw onto the hose at both ends smoothly and securely. No, it’s not going to be as secure as metal screwed into metal, but it isn’t flimsy either; I was able to shake and drop and shimmy the assembly quite...
