We've been very happy with our high-quality Graber Double-cell Cordless Shades in our primary home that still work and look great after 24 years (only one failed to operate properly well after the warranty expired, but our local seller got Graber to replace it for free). We were on a tighter budget when we purchased a cabin as a secondary home, so we looked elsewhere for good quality single-cell shades. We reduced our focus to three suppliers--two online and big-box HD, all which had good reviews, similar pricing, necessary sizes, and color. Since we had about 15 windows to cover, we decided it was best just to order one from each supplier and put them to the test.
Decor Avenue was the easy winner (on the far left in the photo). The material was more of a fabric and less paper-like than the other two. The fit was perfect (one of the others was not). The plastic end caps on one of the other's kept falling off, and one is not supplied with lift levers/tabs. The levers on the Decor Avenue were relatively large and even better quality than the ones that came with our more expensive Grabers, and the coloring on the Decor Avenue shade was uniform--not...

These replace an old set of those ridiculously heavy wooden-slat blinds that had begun to sag in the middle, and I couldn't be happier. I mis-measured the window, so these were about an inch too long to fit inside the window frame as I'd intended. Not a problem, though, all the hardware for outside-of-frame hanging is provided as well, along with useful instructions.
They are absurdly easy to install, even for one person wrestling the 71" unit. Measure (more carefully than I had before), screw in the hardware, snap the blinds on, and you're done. It'll take a few tries to click the blinds into place on the mounting elbows, but once installed they look like as nice as $500 custom-made blinds and the cordless operation works beautifully. I'd worried this mechanism would be cheap or begin to lean one way or the other, but so far there's been no sign of it.
I intend to replace all my horrible old six-ton wooden slat blinds with these this summer. They're great, and a steal at the price.

Very nice shade, easy to install, fit perfectly into my window. My only suggestion is to put the screw holes in the brackets more in the middle of the bracket or towards the back of the bracket.

**UPDATE** Five months later as I was pulling the shade down the lining broke and it now it won’t go up or down.
