Glitterjen: This book was witty! I enjoyed the blossoming friendship between Cricket and Ruby … it really was the best thing about this book.
There are ALOT of details in this book - that I felt were not needed. The inner dialogue was a lot and past 50% I was skimming bc it took an entire page to get to the point.
But they - there was the hilarious one liners so it made it up in the end.
The end of this book was perfect.

When we meet Cricket, she overhears two women talking in the shop about how her husband Scott must be cheating on her with their daughter’s tennis coach. Shocked, she decides she needs to do some snooping.
Ruby has a checkered past but loves working with Cricket because it allows her to pilfer the clothing that they can’t sell in the shop and create...

Kindle Customer: This is a very light book that is an extremely easy read. I used it as a break between some heavier going books and it absolutely worked. I liked how the story developed, I liked the main characters, the brand obsession did feel odd and unreal to me but it did reduce as the priorities in Cricket's life shifted. I'm assuming that was intentional and shows her budding from almost stepford wife to confidence in herself. The two women are the focus of the story and both together see how they need change their lives for the better. All the other side characters are foils for these two characters but do add depth to the story.
In summary a nice story that was worth a few hours to read but wouldn't read again. But would in future read other books by this author.

Rosein: I enjoyed reading this book but it was nearly too "perfect" nearly banale. I was expecting a much more exciting read. Despite all this, reading it was fun, light and easy .
