DBPOWER Portable Mini Projector for Home Entertainment

rgreen: I bought this to use outside for an occasional backyard movie night. I don't have great wifi reception in my backyard, so I didn't want to have to stream anything using screen mirroring or Wifi; I wanted something that I could plug in to my computer. I also didn't want to spend a lot of money because I know we'll only use it a handful of times this summer. Based on all of that, I fully expected this product to be kind of meh, and I was willing to accept that. But I have to say, I am so pleasantly surprised by the quality of this projector. The picture is very clear, and it's super easy to use. The built in speakers are not very loud, but you can easily connect a bluetooth speaker to your computer or whatever you're using to make the sound better. I read about the noisy fan on other reviews, and while you definitely hear it, I don't feel like it's distracting at all. You kind of forget about it after a minute.

The only thing I will say is that the speakers don't support Dolby digital, so if you are playing Netflix through your computer, you'll have to change the audio setting to the original 2.0, not the 5.1. Netflix defaults to 5.1 every time, so...

MToombMToomb: We bought this projector to use for watching movies outside. The picture is very clear and easy to adjust. The instructions are straightforward and easy to understand. We purchased a different lightening to HDMI cable to use with our iPhones because the Apple one is a little pricey. The cable we bought didn’t work with our phones so we sent it back and purchased the Apple one. It works great with our phones. The projector has speakers, but we plugged some other ones in and they worked great! We were also able to use a Bluetooth set of speakers as well with it that we bluetoothed off our phones. We haven’t plugged a DVD player in yet, but our phones and using our streaming service providers works great and we were able to watch movies through that. The price for this product was good and we are very happy with this purchase. We can’t wait to watch more movies outside!

Amazon Customer: The projector provides a great image — used it for an outdoor movie and it was excellent. The sound is good for such a small into (handy that it’s so small.) we connected it to a speaker to project over a larger space.

Only two complaints - 1) the cord falls out of the unit too easily (but a little electrical tape fixed that easily) and 2) our remote doesn’t work well - (would work for a few clicks and then stop - changed the batteries but no dice.)The controls on the unit are easy to use though so wasn’t a huge problem.

Hope : This mini projector has been on my list for nearly a year and I finally was able to get one. I must say I was a tad bit skeptical just because it seemed too good to be true but it is worth your money! The projector itself is small, light and adorable! The size is perfect for anyone and is easy to operate. I was able to set it up within 5-10 minutes because the instructions were clear and easy to understand but if you do have trouble they have a 24 hour help line. At first the quality wasn’t 100% clear but I was ok with it because the color was bright and the speaker was loud. After altering the two clarity settings it was crystal clear! I know that this little projector will get plenty of use and I can’t wait for the next movie night!

Jocelyn: The media could not be loaded.  Love this projector. I wasnt so sure about it since it was cheap. I was expecting something wat i paid for. Turns out i was wrong. Work really well. I mostly use it for movies/tv shows. The first day i got it i set it up right away. My brother came to visit and he also loved it . And he even got convinced on getting one of his own. We ended up watching 2 movies that same day. U could bearly hear any noise from the fan. The speakers on it are not so great but i use my own bluetooth speakers and it good wit me. I was able to use hulu and HBO. When i opened HBO at first it wasnt working. I was only able to see the image but no sound from the projector. Then i connected my phones bluetooth to my BOSE speakers and i was able to see and hear everything.
