Andrew Lake: These aren't the sturdiest clamps and do allow some wiggle if you are doing a lot of dropping/bouncing with your weights, but hold fairly well especially for the price.

Jord: This product is great! Works as intended and virtually the same as any other Olympic Barbell Spring Clip that you'd find in a commercial gym. The only issue is that I bought this product believing that I would get a set of 2 PAIRS of clips or 4 clips in total as the first advertising picture has led me to believe. However, that is not the case at all. Otherwise, sturdy product.

Amazon Customer: Okay, so I wanted to address the size issue in detail so others can be aware of some issues. I have two dumbbell bars and one 6' straight bar both are advertised as "Standard 1 inch" bars. These 1" clips don't fit on any of them. Too big for the straight bar and too small for the dumbbells. I took the time to measure the bars with a caliper to help others. My straight bar clocks in at 0.94 inches, the dumbbells clock in at 1.06 inches. So, someone's 1" standard measurement is off. I'm not really knocking the clips in general, I bet they do fix an exactly 1" bar but heck if I can find one.

DeNeil Brown: Very good for what they are used for. Just wish the “handles” were just a bit bigger. They do the job well though of holding my weight plates in place.

Johnny KwanJohnny Kwan: Clips were better than I expected. They fit perfectly on my 1'' ezbar. The clips are tight and weights do not slide off. See pictures for clip sizing compared with my hand.

WilliamQuinn: Obviously these are no where near as secure as locking collars, and me even be slightly less tight than some other brand spring collars. However these still fit quite snug and don't seem to move around on my Ohio power bar sleeves. These are a really good value.

Rebecca Lewinson: Does what I need them to do. No complaints. If I take off the rubber covers, they look like any clips you would see in a gym.- the rubber covers to actually make them easier to open and close though. They are made of a good quality metal, and I am happy with the purchase.
