Dash Citrus Juicer Extractor: Create Fresh, Healthy Juice with Compact Design

myhale: We have a lemon tree and this little gadget makes juicing for lemonade quick and easy. The only thing I don't like about it is the way that the strainer is designed. It's a 2 piece strainer and there are 3 tiny tabs that hold the 2 pieces together. You need to take the strainer apart to clean it well but in order to do so, all 3 tabs have to be pushed in simultaneously while sliding the 2 pieces apart from each other. I initially thought it wasn't that big a deal but it's actually a pain. Other then that, the product works great.

Southern Diva: I am replacing my manual handheld squeezer for this product. Never owned an electric juicer. This thing is absolutely amazing. I never yield this much orange juice with my handheld. Two oranges got me 6 ounces of juice using this machine. Only thing that I didn’t like is the pulp controls. The switch kept moving to higher pulp, and I really don’t like pulp in my juice.

For $13 in like new condition, (the box had been opened), this kitchen utensil was a steal!

Robin GreenRobin Green: I have juiced limes, lemons and oranges with this juicer and it did a great job on them all. Also had 2 1/2 year old help juice lemons to make lemonade and he did great with it.

Kudos to the person who designed this juicer, you can tell they have emptied a dishwasher before because the bottom of the pitcher slopes in to the center hole when upside down. This means that when it is upside down in the dishwasher the water does not just pool there but goes through the hole. Love that! Also the cord wraps neatly around the base so you don't have to deal with cord clutter in the cabinet.

The only con is if you want to take the strainer section apart for cleaning it is a little tricky, but it can be done.

Peter Banks: This is my 4th juicer. The ones I bought previously all jumped the sprockets and started to grind. This juicer has a powerful motor and the gears are solid. Best juicer so far for the least money. Highly recommend!

Ames: Had to juice something like thirty lemons in a relatively short period of time, and it worked great. Came apart easily, my one complaint is that the seed catcher is kind of a pain to clean.
If you only do one or two fruits at a time it's probably not worth it, but saves a lot of time if you find yourself juicing baskets of them once in a while.

Mike Chomitsch: The juicer has a large capacity, two heads type to juice limes up to grapefruits. Pulp setting is nice but wish the full pulp setting (my preference) didn't waste some of the pulp. Not the easiest to clean, not terrible but the container should lift off of the middle spinner for better functionality. Juiced a full bag of limes the first go and it cleaned them all easily, no dreaded hand cramping that happens when doing it by hand.

Amazon Customer: I bought this because it was recommended by America's Test Kitchen. I was not disappointed!

It's a cute little machine which I would be happy to keep out on my counter top if I had the space for it. Small footprint and it has a cover to keep any kitchen grime from settling on it if you don't use it often. The color is a pleasing mint green, just as I expected from the photographs.

I juiced 5 lbs. of lemons (I'm guessing around 20-25 lemons?) in about 5 minutes. I was very pleased with the efficiency of extraction, if you twist the fruit around as you push down, this will get pretty much all the pulp. I will say you have to be careful when you're removing the cone and filter tray part, if you fumble it, you'll get pulp and seeds dumped into your juice. I'd also recommend rinsing the filter tray between batches, after emptying out the carafe. I didn't at first, and it got real messy up in there with all the pulp and seeds.

All in all quite easy to take apart and wash by hand, though the filter/seed tray was a little bit tricky to figure out at first. If this thing breaks, I can see it being one of the clips that holds the two pieces together that goes first. I...

AmazonShopper: This juicer is well designed but overpriced. It extracts juice well, responding to light hand pressure, switching directions as needed, and scooping out flesh right down to the rind. The filter is adjustable, so you can customize how much pulp you want in the juice. To clean it, the juicer must be taken apart. This works pretty well except for the two-piece filter section on top, which is devilishly hard to pull apart. Another minus: The lid is so flimsy it seems an afterthought. As far as juicers go, it is relatively small and easy to store. I find this juicer a bit large for my purposes, which mainly involves extracting juice from lemons and limes for cooking.
