Small footprint yet, perfect size and easy to clean. I DO use oil to keep the surfaces seasoned. They all work perfectly. Sure Wish I had known about these conveniences long ago.

Was getting desperate: This is another item I bought since I had a stroke. We got rid of our stove so I couldn’t get my wheelchair in the kitchen. I have discovered these mini appliances and I got this grill along with a few of the others I have use this and make crapes Fried eggs for egg sandwiches and grilled cheese so far. You may have to turn the stuff over a little bit but it only takes a few seconds and I can actually do all this with one hand and their plants is so easy to clean. I can actually do all this on my own. I don’t know who all they had in mind when they made these appliances but I think for some of the stroke patients they’re very handy we have to be careful because they do get hot . However you’d have to do that even if you didn’t have a stroke. Lol I have just ordered a mini muffin maker. It’s been almost a year since I’ve been able to do cooking and I am so excited to have these appliances. I know the price that you can afford on a budget. I know some people don’t like them but as for me I am very satisfied with the product so far and so happy that I have gotten them and I’m able to use them. I am so thankful that I am still recovering and I’m able to cook with...

Jessica Link: I didn't think that I would use this griddle so much, but I do! It's so easy to use and clean and small enough to hide in a drawer or shelf until you need to use again. I love it! Nothing sticks to it and I haven't burned anything, which is good!
It's well worth the money, and kids can learn to use it for their snacks.

Amazon Customer: I bought this to make quesedillas and hot toasted sandwiches and the like for one person and it does a good job. You should know that this is not a contact grill, meaning, when you close it, the top will not press down on the food like a George Foreman grill unless whatever you put in there is super thick. The top is recessed back a bit.
I had to flip a quesedilla and the bottom was very well done and the top was not. There was only a bit of brown in the center on top. I had no problem having to do that but be mindful that you'll have to flip or make very fat quesedillas. If you are using sliced bread, it may have better contact when you close it but I'm not sure yet.
You can make a ton of stuff in here. Not sure I'd make a burger because I'd worry that the grease will drip off the sides but I could see cutting up a chicken breast cutlet, throwing it in there and closing it to make some grilled chicken to toss in a salad. Or toss some broccoli and cauliflower or brussel sprouts in some fat free italian dressing and putting that in there.
I'm very glad that I bought the larger one because it looks like a mini item itself so I can only imagine what the mini one...

Lois E. Brenneman, MSN, FNP: This product does, in fact, work as advertised but be sure you are buying for the right reason. It will cook your food, as promised, but it won't necessarily do it an better than a small frying pan with a lid set on low heat on the stove. I cooked a small piece of raw meat and some left over spaghetti on the side next to the meat. The meat was thin and was frozen when I put it in. I topped the whole thing - meat and side of spaghetti - with chopped onions and some soy sauce after first adding a liberal amount of veg oil to the pan before adding the food. I closed the lid. About 7-8 minutes, I opened the lid and everything was cooked very nicely. It was browned on the bottom, not the top. The meal was delicious and the food was nicely seasoned. Everything was fine...............BUT I could have done the very same thing with a small frying pan and lid on the stove set to low heat. I could have also done the same thing on an electric frying pan set to low heat making sure to put a cover on the pan, in either case.
Where it would be more useful than frying pan is in places where there is no stove but there is electricity such as a dorm room, a camper or RV, a hotel room, etc....

John: Heats up faster than I can prepare the food. Food doesn't stick, just wipe clean with dish cloth. Only cooked biscuits, naan pizza & toasted sandwich so far. Biscuits turn out like a thick flat pancake. Haven't needed to cook anything longer than 10 minutes, so its real quick. There's no temperature control or on/off switch but no big deal, just remember to unplug.
