Danby 8.5 Cu. Ft. Upright Freezer with Energy Star Rating in White

Samantha Delaney: I had my freezer stolen from a error that occurred with the shipping address and the person that took the freezer refused to give it back.
Daniel the gentleman that helped me through this process investigated to find out the error above.
He is a gentleman and a scholar he stayed by my side through this whole process. Not only did Danby refund me but I also ordered another freezer that is awesome. It's got alot of room and does not take up alot of space.
Danby is a phenomenal company that takes great care of there customers and I highly recommend them
My situation was rare and it's was handle with professionalism and care.

Hal in Howell: The freezer is doing what freezers are supposed to do. The size is just what I needed, though the dimensions and weight listed in the Amazon description were a little off from the manufacturer's, but not enough to make a difference. It's very quiet and the door seals are functioning keeping the cold in. I'm hopeful it will prove to be a reliable product (I've only been using it for a few days).

Now the strange thing. This was not the freezer I ordered. I ordered the white model, but received the stainless steel model. The white and stainless models are otherwise identical and have the same specs. The main difference is pricing. The stainless model sells for a couple hundred dollars more than the white. I got more than I paid for. Since the freezer is in the cellar, the appearance/color is not an issue. To return and replace it would surely be a major hassle. The Amazon purchase was through a third party vendor (not FBA). I've found that sometimes you don't get exactly what is described when going through one of these vendors.

The freight delivery of the freezer was OK. However, it would have been helpful if there was a text message or even a knock on the door to...

kbd: Purchased 2 weeks ago, so not a lot of time to review.

Pros: plenty of storage, and the door storage is a great feature. Gets and stays cold.
Cons: no light, the shelves aren't adjustable and the top piece (plastic) came broken.
Since it does not impact the function of the freezer, we will repair it ourselves.
Time will tell if it continues to perform well.

Lightweight - can be moved when necessary.
Low price. Keeps temperature very precisely (I have an independent temperature control meter)
Received it very fast, without any dents, low heat from the fridge.

Patrick RootesPatrick Rootes: The freeze is great. Got it set up and plugged in and set the control and it started to chill down immediately. Runs very quiet and many times I have to check to see if it is still running.

The delivery of the freezer sucked royally. I signed up to be notified when the freeze would be delivered. I was told the freezer wouldn't be delivered until beginning of February. Two weeks prior to the beginning of February, the freezer was delivered with no notification, left in my driveway under the eves where melting snow dripped on the container. No one knocked on my door or texted me to tell me the freezer was delivered. My roommate happened to be out and returned to tell me that a freezer was sitting outside on the driveway; needless to say, I was amazed.

I moved the freeze into the house and unpackaged it only to find out that the top piece is cracked, which is okay, it is not a huge crack. The part that pisses me off is that one of the sides has two dings in it as though a fork lift was rammed into it twice.

Shiraz Jessa: This arrived but was surprised that Costco was delivering it.Did not get a delivery advise so after calling
it was delivered after 4 days. The delivery was very good. The product is what we axpected and is working fine. It's too early to tell if there are any problems.
