CZUR ET16 Plus: High-Performance Book & Document Scanner with Advanced Features

Lorenzo Teston: Sono entusiasta di condividere la mia esperienza con lo scanner per libri CZUR ET16 Plus. Questo prodotto ha superato le mie aspettative in termini di qualità, funzionalità e facilità d’uso.

Innanzitutto, la qualità delle scansioni è eccezionale. Grazie al sensore da 16 megapixel, le immagini sono nitide e dettagliate, rendendo la lettura un piacere. La dimensione massima di scansione A3 consente di gestire facilmente documenti di grandi dimensioni, il che è particolarmente utile in un ambiente di ufficio.

La funzione OCR (Optical Character Recognition) supporta oltre 180 lingue, il che è impressionante. Questo significa che può riconoscere e convertire il testo in quasi tutte le lingue che si possano immaginare. Questa funzionalità è incredibilmente utile per chi lavora con documenti multilingue.

La facilità d’uso è un altro punto di forza dello scanner CZUR ET16 Plus. L’impostazione è semplice e intuitiva, il che significa che si può iniziare a utilizzare lo scanner quasi immediatamente.

Infine, vorrei elogiare il servizio post-vendita di CZUR. Hanno inviato in prova alcuni gadget interessanti per la scansione di libri in copertina...

Andrés: L’unica pecca per me è la mancanza di led caldi per lettura: il prodotto è professionale, ma questa aggiunta non avrebbe certo dato fastidio a studenti come me che devono scannerizzare libri enormi e leggere costantemente.

Il display era scollato ed ho fatto un leggero pasticcio per riattaccarlo — leggo comunque che l’assistenza è pronta e disponibile, quindi la colpa è anche mia; per il resto la confezione e ed il prodotto sono perfetti. Il software forse meriterebbe un aggiornamento per renderlo più intuitivo e preciso, e per migliorare alcune traduzioni un po’ alla buona.

Sono soddisfatto della velocità e della comodità: in poche ore, da solo, e con poca fatica posso scannerizzare libri di medicina in italiano e portarli con me ovunque sul tablet. Consigliato a studenti e professionisti che hanno a che fare con libri molto voluminosi o con grossi flussi di fogli.

Mª Eulalia: El producto viene embalado con un mimo y lujo fuera de lo común, piezas y componentes robustos que denotan calidad por los todos los lados. Quiero empezar por el veredicto final y como el titulo dice es el mejor scanner que he visto en mi vida debido a que los demás no tienen una I.A tan conseguida. Realizar un scanner tan tan automatizado tiene sus contras y es que no son perfectos, éste Czur ET16 comete errores de
escaneo enormes, saltandose páginas y errando en muchas de ellas, aproximadamente en un 20%. Tengo una colleccion de revistas de 50 años y por supuesto que me compensa un scanner así con su velocidad de vertigo, púes lo que antes tardaba una hora ahora son 5 minutos.

Otra cosa muy importante a mencionar es que éste scanner es exclusivamente para documentos, libros y algunas revistas, olvidarse de la fotografia, se escanean con muchisimo ruido, falta de definición y si son con brillo saldrán quemadas por su propia iluminación.

Por último y quizá lo más importante que lo que se valla a escanear no tenga brillo ni sea satinado, su propia iluminación quemará parte de las imagenes, le afectará a la imagen incluso la luz de las propias...

Kamash: Acheté principalement pour scanner des gros livres reliés impossibles à numériser avec un scanner à plat.
Ce scanner est très simple à installer, tout aussi simple à utiliser (heureusement car le mode d'emploi fourni avec est très succinct).
Il est possible de scanner deux pages à la fois (livre ouvert) et le logiciel sépare automatiquement les deux pages tout en redressant les pages et les lignes. Attention, pour que le résultat soit bon, il vaut mieux scanner à la lumière naturelle en utilisant les éclairages du Czur. Si vous scannez le soir avec une lumière de plafonnier, cela peut perturber le Czur qui a du mal à bien séparer les pages.
Le scan double-page prend quelques secondes (le temps de séparer les pages et de redresser les lignes).
Le plus rapide est de scanner en page unique (même un livre ouvert, si vous avez ensuite un logiciel OCR qui sépare les pages automatiquement, par exemple). La numérisation est alors quasiment immédiate. Malheureusement, dans ce cas, vous devez vous passer de certaines fonctions (redressement des lignes, effaçages des doigtiers fournis permettant de maintenir le livre ouvert...)

Kevin P. Ludlow: This is impressive. I first wanted something like this when Google worked on their Library of Congress project around 2007 or so. I have tens of thousands of documents that I've been wanting to digitize so that I can get rid of the physical stacks. Various books too. This product absolutely does what it's supposed to do.

Out of the box, this is an impressive display. I would say their packaging rivals that of Apple products (of which I also use). It's slick, solid, well-presented, and gives a good feeling of quality. I would say that hardware wise, that quality delivers. The unit is solid, easy to use, quick to assemble, and easy to store. The only thing I found a little iffy is the extra light. It's absolutely useful and while I think they did a great job with the design, the light is held in place with a magnetic rectangle lock (very similar to the power cord on a MacBook). Because the light is being pulled by gravity and is a little heavier, it can come off with just a little force. Again, not a huge deal, but it's my only complaint with the hardware. There is a foot pedal and hand pedal that allow you to scan without touching the scan area. That in itself is really...

BfCBfC: My wife and I have used the ET16Plus for about one month now--And we have found it very easy and fast to use.

My wife scans lots of foreign language books for reference and used to use a flat bed scanner (that has a nice feature that allows books to scan only open 1/2 way--But the flat bed scanner light and mechanism would wear out after a year or two). The CZUR used LEDs (plus 3x LED lasers) and pure electronics to take a picture for scanning--Hopefully, this will last a very long time.

Much faster than using the flat bed scanner and no flipping the whole book to scan each page. The side light option is very nice for scanning glossy pages (turn off overhead LEDs).

Software can be installed from CD or downloaded from CZUR's website (which I did, Windows 10 laptop did not have a CD Drive).

Post processing (doing OCR and combining to PDF) was very simple, easy, and fast. Have done OCR for both Chinese and English--Pretty accurate (a lot depends on image quality of source documents). I have attached both a color glossy and black&white scanned documents at the end of the review. They were simple scans and I did not take any extra care or reshoot scans...

WD: Der CZUR-Scanner kam drei Tage nach Bestellung bei Amazon in einer doppelten Karton-Verpackung und dem schicken schwarzen CZUR-Karton bei mir an.
Der Scanner und alle Zubehörteile (Netzteil, USB-Kabel, Fußpedal, Handschalter (beide mit USB-Anschluss) und die beiden gelben Fingerkappen sowie die schwarze Scan-Matte für die Umriss-Erkennung der Scan-Vorlage lagen in weichem, passgenauem Schaumstoff sowie einer im Karton befindlichen schwarzen Papp-Box. Die Box ist stabil, hat in Kunststoff ausgeformte Griffmulden an zwei Seiten und kann so ideal als Transportbox für das Gerät genutzt werden.
Die Software habe ich nicht von CD installiert, sondern tagesaktuell von der CZUR-Seite heruntergeladen.
Die Installation unter Windows 10 64 Bit verlief schnell und problemlos. Der bei Installation verlangte Code fand sich unter dem Fuß des Scanners. Achtung: Der Scanner soll erst nach Softwareinstallation erstmalig an den PC angeschlossen werden.
Zunächst wird der Scanner mit dem Netzteil über einen Klinkenstecker verbunden. Dann kann man den Fuß- oder Fingerschalter an eine USB-Buchse anschließen.
