N. MEDERICH: all these years, I’ve been using an air chuck, and then a tire pressure gauge, what a great idea to combine the two. Definitely saves me time and effort, and it works great! I cannot imagine going back to the old way of inflating tires.

Cynthia J.: I've been tire inflators for years from Harbor Freight, and they always get wonky after a couple of uses: they fill the tires alright, but the gauges jump do goofy things while I'm filling, so I can't trust them. I have to check 2 or 3 times with a gauge rather than just trusting the gauge on the inflator. This one has worked, and it checks with my other tire gauges. The digital readout is so easy to see and the rubber hose lets me see the gauge even when the valve stem is buried behind stuff.

David Renken: I bought this when I had only Schrader valves, anticipating purchase with Presta valves.

A few items would make this a 5-star.
* The valve hose still has 'memory' bend after months, making it harder to use in tight situations.
* The valve lock is opposite of typical, extended to lock & collapsed to open. Awkward to lock on spoked wheels, especially with Presta valves.
* Accuracy is 1-2 psi off, mostly reading higher.

Even with shortcomings, I decided to keep and continue using.

Ross: Seems like decent quality overall for durability, and is very usable head for Schrader, but next to useless for Presta due to being too finicky. Like others, I ordered a proper Topeak dual head and replaced the stock one. Increased cost but works great on the bikes and car now.

K.A.: When I first saw this I thought "hey I can use this to pump my tires with my air compressor and hot have to fiddle with a pump." This quickly turned out to be impractical: if I ever want to run my air compressor for minutes to compress air, and endure the nuisance noise the whole time, for the mere seconds it would take to pump up my tires afterwards, yes, that works. Pumping up my tires with the tire inflator from my car, and even with a manual pump in some situations, is so much faster.

The one thing this does that I can't do with anything else is seating tubeless tires: this is a tricky problem as the tire is not properly seated on the rim and is leaking air, yet it cannot be seated properly unless it is filled with air. With this thing I can fill it with air so fast, the air doesn't have time to escape, thus solving my chicken-and-egg problem there. Both my tires are seated on their rims on the first try, and now I have a simple little tool that does a job nothing else can.

The pressure meter is the tricky bit: while the button is depressed it reads the pressure coming from the compressor, not the pressure in the tire. I have to stop inflating to read the tire...
