Jasmine: I purchased this October 2023 it stopped charging today. My heart sanked as this is a crucial part of everyday use. I got online found troubleshooting tips and apparently needed to press the reset button. Fixed the issue in less than five minutes. Works like new. Phew! Made a great purchase!

Gray Thompson: It has the ability to plug everything I need into it but I thought it had the ability to shut the computer down when needed but this is only on the better models .

stevey: Bought it as a backup generator to bridge the time between a power outage and starting my generator to back up my internet (Starlink) and security camera hub.
Works really well, can power Starlink (with heater off) for about 20 minutes.
Haven't tried it with the dishy heater turned on.
Using the 425 VA but regretting not going a bit bigger.
Would reccomend!

Mansoor: Love it. It's slim and fits under the desk, has plenty of bells and whistles, and it works. It connects via software to the PC and can self-test, and keep an eye on your power consumption and the battery charge. Great buy indeed. However, make sure to check your wattage before buying as this one is not designed for big power guzzlers. My PC is midrange, so it works perfectly.

connie373: Seems to be working fine. I see no physical damage to the Ups. Item was shipped in its original carton. The original carton looks like it was mauled by a lion. The outer shipping box was in perfect shape. conclusion is, it was packed and shipped out like that. It was purchased as NEW.

Ed - BC, CanadaEd - BC, Canada: I asked the Amazon community a while ago about if anyone knew how big the internal circuit board was for the Cyberpower SL700U battery backup? No one could give me an answer and since this unit seemed to be the smallest, most compact design for a larger 700 watt backup supply on the market, I decided it would do for my purposes.

I am writing this review not as an end use of the actual device, but to re-purpose the battery backup’s structure, it still functions as intended, just in a different package and I believe that customers may like to see how these units work as well as how they can be modified (yes, you will void the warranty)

McGadget: I purchased this to enable us to continue having internet access during power outages. I tested this with the Bell home hub 3000 modem, the ooma voip box as well as a cordless phone all plugged in at once. They all ran perfectly for two hours and there was still power to be had when I stopped the test. In short now I know that i will have critical services for two hours or more. This is a backup power supply with no extras but is perfect for what I need. The first thing I did was disable the alarm which I find kind of redundant, when there is no power, I don't need an alarm to tell me that and I appreciate the ease of double pressing on the power button to do so once and for all. I have another UPS that I have to disable the alarm manually each time the power goes out and it is not a simple button press to disable it. In short, I like the simplicity of this unit, the protection and the ample power reserve for my critical connectivity systems.

Jim Gordon: ST625U received 2-25-2020 - I have not had a power outage yet but they happen a lot here in Florida during tropical storm season. EDIT UPDATE ON 10/19/2020 - IMPRESSIVE PERFORMANCE OF ALL THREE OF MY ST625U UPS units when a massive sustained power surge from an underground power cable failure burnt up 5 of my home's stand alone surge protector outlets! My CPAP kept running right through the event while my neighbor's wall wiring burnt up! All 3 of my 625's are still working after giving 40 minutes of stand-by power and their breakers did not blow - END EDIT .... SECOND EDIT 10/2023: all 3 of my units and their batteries are still going strong! I just slept through a short power outage while using CPAP END SECOND EDIT. A slight odor of 'burnt' electronics right out of the box is normal for some electronics product manufacturing methods, do not be concerned with a slight odor that does not get stronger with use. It will diminish. I tested this unit with my powered 5 motor recliner, an LED desk light and laptop running while it was unplugged from the wall 5 minutes.
