Greg Bell: This UPS works as expected. I connect only my Gateway and VOIP home phone. This gives me just over 2 hours of power. I had initially connected my TV and cable box as well (to allow for proper shut down in a power outage) and this limits the batter life to just over 40 minutes.
Keep in mind the purpose of a UPS is to give you time to shut things down properly, it's not geared to run them for a longer period. With that in mind I am completely satisfied!
If you are looking for something longer term buy an ecoflow or similar item.

Chuck: I have purchased 3 of these competitively priced units. Each unit provides 7 outlets, 4 of which provide surge protection. I installed one unit to support my TV, satellite box, amp, and CD/DVD player. I installed another unit in my home office to support my computer, printer, and wi-fi modem. Third unit supports TV, sat box, and accessories upstairs. When power goes out or there's a momentary power blip, everything stays on without any interruption whatsoever, until my outdoor generator comes on.

Carlos: Excelente produto, tengo 4 meses con el y me ha salvado innumerable ocasiones. Donde vivo es muy común que con cualquier lluvia se vaya la luz o se corte un instante, suficiente para apagarte la computadora. Tengo mi PC gamer con un monitor conectado al aparato y de todas las veces que me ha salvado de cortes de luz yo creo que ya se regresó la inversión. Completamente recomendado.

DaveF: I have confidence in the Cyberpower name and this backup battery works well to backup my wifi modem when power goes out. I have another one for the tv so there is no downtime or reboot delays when power is out for short periods. I like this model with digital readout and eco option on several plug outlets. Also, the price seemed reasonable to me.

Peace: This has become a clunky surge protector for me. When there's an outage for more than 5 minutes, the pack emits an infuriating tone. When the power comes back on, the tone doesn't cease. It does work though. It kept my tv and computer on long enough to save my work and shut down. My electronics still work fine, so I guess the surge protector works. When the battery is dead, it doesn't immediately start recharging when the power comes back on. I wish there was a way to turn the backlit screen off. I don't regret my purchase, but I won't be buying another one.

INTRO
I am a freelance motion graphics artist and I work from home often, so I decide to buy this battery backup system (450VA version) as a safeguard in case of a power outage, giving me to time to save and close my projects. I have a 2017 27” iMac and I searched online to find out how much power this computer uses and estimate how long it would take for my computer to shut off. I couldn’t find a definite answer so I decide to purchase and do my own testing. Of course there are many variables in figuring that out as it all depends on the usage and how much power the computer is using at the time of the outage. If you are using your computer for browsing the internet at half of the screen brightness while not watching a video or listening to music, your power consumption will be a lot less than if you were editing heavy animated graphics at full screen brightness while using the speakers.

THE TEST
For my first test I unplugged the battery backup from the wall and started the timer on my phone. On the iMac I had the screen brightness 3 dots...
