J. Marcson: This isn't a backup generator. It gives you time to shut things off correctly, not run them for hours. The idea is that when the power goes out you want to save your work, tell your teammates goodbye, and properly shut your computer down this provides the power to do so. That's exactly what this does. It even alerts you if you are in another room and don't notice the lights going out. This model is a good compromise between cost and battery size. You should be able to get all your devices (it has plenty of plugs) powered down safely and it isn't loud, hot, or too bulky. This is the perfect model for home use. Don't use it for purposes for which it was not designed and it will serve you well. Seriously, it isn't a backup generator; I'm looking at you person who called me at midnight to tell me it only powered the computer for an hour.

Diego O Arista: Al momento funciona a la perfección, buena construcción, equipo pesado y con buenos acabados, no he entrado a fondo a ver las opciones en el display pero me encanta que puedes tener detalles en la computadora al conectar por usb+software, te da registros de los cortes de luz, tiempos, consumo, tiempo de reserva de la bateria, etc.

Lo estoy usando para un equipo con PSU de 850w, ryzen 5700x con AIO, RTX 3080 ROG, monitor de 32" 1440p y funciona a la perfección, en uso de carga baja (navegar, videos, trabajo básico) marca respaldo de 25-45 minutos, en carga pesada como gaming y trabajo de edición indica 9-15 minutos de respaldo, lo suficiente para terminar una partida/guardar y poder apagar sin problema 🙏.

Cualquier cambio o detalle actualizaré la review ✌️.

Eric Boosman: product is pretty old, so just posting this for posterity, but this worked super well for 8 years, saved my work on several occasions of power outages.

A few weeks ago it just shut off for no reason, no warning, no sound, just *click* off. The house did not lose power, just this unit switched itself off. Today it happened again for the 3rd time and I lost some work, so I'm biting the bullet and purchasing a replacement unit.

8 years is a pretty good life, but it would have been nice to have some warning or maybe some way to replace the battery itself. Prices went up about 40% in those 8 years, so that's not great.

Still, overall I've been pretty happy with this unit and will be replacing with the same brand, similar size.

MGL - PE: Using this battery backup to protect my computer from power outages and surges.. Power's gone out a
few times, and this gives me time to save and shut down safely. I like that it stays cool -- doesn't waste
much power while running in standby. Recently the front panel on/off button LED light went dark.
Power protection still fine, but I called to ask. Tech Support answered right away, said they'd had a few
LED failures. They sent me a new front panel, easy to install. There isn't an obvious self-test button, but
self-test can be done from the front panel with a few button pushes. I've also tested by turning off the
circuit breaker for the outlet where the UPS is plugged in. By the way, it's best not to test by unplugging
the UPS from the wall outlet. That would also unplug the (round, slightly longer) safety ground pin of
the plug, which can cause trouble if you have cables like USB, internet or video connecting other
equipment which is still plugged in to a live outlet. Besides, it's easier than moving furniture to reach
the plug.

bheide: I like the features of this product. The onscreen display is great for viewing the status of the battery and power conditions without having to connect it to a computer with USB. I like that it has more plugs on the back than the previous model it replaces, though I could do without the coax cable connectors on the back which get in the way of some power adapters depending on how you plug them in. I don't really need surge protection on the coax cable, but that is a trivial complaint. I haven't had this product long enough to experience a power outage, but where I live I get several long ones per year. I'm using this product as backup power for a cable modem, wifi router, voip adapter and cell phone signal booster. I like to keep those running during long power outages and this product should give me over 3 hours of runtime (it has two internal batteries.) I've used CyberPower UPS products for years and find them very reliable. The batteries usually last 5 years which is typical for sealed lead acid batteries.
