Hayden Andreyka: Model Y owners beware, this is not compatible with the factory hitch receiver provided by Tesla. You can fit it on, but the lock is impossible to get off unless you remove the trailer wiring connector to fit the key inside the lock. You need torx bits to get the wiring connector off.

Pharmboy: Solid piece that won't have me worried with a trailer behind me. I've had it installed for several weeks, just swapped out this 2" for a 2 5/16th inch (also Curt brand) to pickup a trailer, and the lock is smooth so far. The dust cover is nice and has stayed on so far, after a couple thousand highway miles.

Kalonji I: The key lock is a great feature with 2 positions on the hitch awesome starter kit.
I hauled my sled on a 9x5 U haul trailer no issues or shaking with and without the sled.
The key hole did froze over the winter I did get the key in with some wd40 but the lock stil doesn’t turn.

Guy: Great deal for a mount with lock. I got this to tow a Uhaul trailer to move a fridge. I dont have a truck so renting. Uhaul trailer was the next option. It was cheaper to rent a trailer than to rent a Uhaul truck
Well it worked great. The mount locks into place with the included lock so you dont have to worry about anyone stealing your mount if left on the hitch.
There was an issue that I notice. The Curt 2in mount that I got fits a little on the loose side with the Curt 2in receiver on my SUV. Comparing to the Reese 2in hitch that Uhaul sells that one fits nice while the Curt was loose. I haven't towed anything in a long and the Curt hitch was making all kinds of banging sound when towing the trailer with not enough tongue weight going over bumps. I don't remember this happening with my previous vehicle and think it may be due to the loose fitting in the receiver. I still give it 5 stars as it did the job and functions as it should.
