User1099: Not really non-stick AND messier than ever despite the addition of a small plate! Need a LOT of oil or spray to make the waffle somewhat retrievable in one piece! Clean up is OILY! Disappointed!! Given the price, expected way more. It's no better than the same model we have owned for a number of years. We end up making small waffles on our little DASH single waffle maker - quick, non-stick and perfect results!
