Used it daily for over 8 mos now, and it is still going strong.
Got it mainly to grind chia or flax so didn't need high speed blender all the time for them. Easy to clean, takes up little space. Not too loud.
Thought I would try making raw organic tahini with it too. Using this with raw organic sesame seeds without the hulls that I keep refrigerated makes something close to tahini, which is close enough for my husband and my uses.
I put just enough seeds in to barely cover the blades and run it until it has become a mass below the blades. It never becomes creamy or paste-like.. well dry paste-like. It becomes a dry fine powder that packs down like tahini. Since we usually mix our tahini with juices or other wet things it works great, and we prefer the taste. So, not tahini, but better and fresher than the best organic raw tahini's I've had.
I have also ground dried small stuff from the garden. It worked, but I don't have as much use for that as I tend to just use things fresh.

Annie M.: I have used this to grind Farro into flour and dried ancho peppers into powder. It works like a charm. It's fast and not too loud. I like the size of the cup as well. This was a very good purchase.

Kia Akrami: At first it wasn't working and I was about to return it. Then I read the instructions and I realized that I needed to turn the base clockwise. After that it works very well.

SundayArtist: I'm pleased with this grinder and have used it mainly to grind fresh, dry roasted spice blends. Great for making my chai masala. I'm only disappointed that I can't get a very fine powder. Not sure if there is any technique to get that but otherwise this is a good grinder. Have not tried for coffee beans.

Cate: I love this, I use it quite frequently to grind nuts and it is fast and doesn't leave little pieces of cashews to pick out and grind again. Feels strong, good weight and motor, durable and doesn't have this high pitched whining sound when grinding, it's perfect.

ecolite:
I bought this grinder with some trepidation because the first several reviews were quite negative. I'm glad I bought it because it is proving to be a star. I use it for a range of things - hard legumes and spices, including Indian spices, seeds, softer spices, breadcrumbs, etc. I've occasionally used it with wet grinding of pastes (ginger, garlic, chutneys, etc) if it's not too runny.
It has several unique features that are difficult to find in a grinder this size:
- Its size is just right - small enough to grind small quantities of things like spices without having a huge leftover to store for weeks; large enough that you don't need too many rounds when grinding larger quantities
- Blade design seems efficient. It seems to completely pulverize anything I put in it (including hard spices) in a small fraction of the time it takes for other grinders (like coffee grinders). It does this so fast that the motor has never been even close to overheating. And it seems to work well always - I haven't yet discovered anything it won't grind well
- So far, its longevity is good (about 8 months) - it has lasted longer than all of the highly rated coffee...
