girlmomgirlmom: It has like a double cover in the top & there is space between them at the top --- they can't be separated & when rinsed, you have to let it sit & dry for a good day on its own. I use this to chop dry chili peppers & have to wait for it to dry so chili powder is not wasted. Otherwise -- the power is great - very quiet & the chopping cup is nice & deeper than others. So I really like it except for that top design flaw.

Nelli: Ich habe die Mühle noch nicht lange, aber sie mahlt sehr gut.
Ich habe sie in Verwendung um getrocknete Chilis und Kräuter zu mahlen.
Ich kann sie nur empfehlen.
Auch der Preis ist völlig in Ordnung.

Amazon Customer: Reasons I like this grinder so much: quiet, even grind size, easy to use. Lots of videos here showing how quiet it is. What few talk about is the grind size consistentcy, which is amazingly good for a blade type unit. My suggestion is if you want a consistant amount of coffee for your brew, weigh the beans. It will leave you with a much more consistant brew strength.

For reference, I own a Mr Coffee burr type coffee grinder that still works, but I hate using it. It has grounds that range from powder all the way to large chunks in every batch. And worst of all is how incredibly loud it is. It would not surprise me to find it is at the very least 2x to 3x as loud. I wish I was exagerating.

wonderful guy: I only use it for my small coffee maker. Usually only three scoops of beans. It grinds fast and quietly. I can put a cotton pot holder under it to make it even quieter than just having it on the counter. You do get coffee bean dust on the sides of the grinder. 99% of the coffee dust come off with tapping it strongly, but a little dust stays in the grinder. I dont wash it. You can pick up the ground coffee container "cup" and shake it over you coffee maker filter holder. You dont have to pick up the whole unit like some are made.

SO I knew this would be a great product, which it is. But when it came with a broken lid, I went back and forth about what to do. If I contacted Amazon, they would make me return it and I did not want to have to go to the post office and stand in those long lines. SO I contacted the company's customer service and they were very kind and said they would send a new lid. It did take a bit to get here, but now we're all good and my husband is a happy coffee drinker once again. It's fantastic, easy, and I couldn't be happier with the product and the company!

R@78: Buon macinacaffè, nonostante ero scettico da alcune recensioni negative, per il prezzo tra l’altro ottimo credo sia di buona fattura, leggermente delicato sulla pressione del tasto sul coperchio, ma consiglio un utilizzo razionale, per chi pretende esagerare nel tenere premuto il tastino c’è da tenere d’occhio il tempo durante il processo di macinazione del caffè, pochi secondi dai 20 al massimo 30 affinché possa raffreddarsi. Non è un trattore cingolato è un semplice ma efficiente macinacaffè che usato con le dovute precauzioni fa quello per cui è stato costruito. Personalmente a me piace molto, la durata rispecchia sempre e comunque qualsiasi cosa se non utilizzato con diligenza. Consiglio l’acquisto.

Baron: This is an amazing grinder.

I tend to grind 2 tablespoons at a time, and don't want a large grinder. I use it for herbs (black pepper, and other seeds mostly). I was specifically looking for a small grinder for herbs, before I found this. I wasn't really looking for a quiet grinder. I stumbled upon this in my search for a small grinder. Most grinders in this size range are portable, and that's not something I need. While this grinder is small, it's very high quality and very powerful.

I have used a lot of grinders and this is by far the quietest grinder, easily 1/10 the noise of other "quiet" grinders. The lid design gives it a double wall with air between when in use. Similar to how a double pain window works, this greatly reduces the noise.

The double wall design ensures that no dust escapes the grinder while grinding.

I have used this for very tiny seeds, much smaller than pepper, and it does a great job grinding them.

The "Vortex" design is great for small quantities as it causes all of the particles to form a tornado-like movement inside the grinder when in use. This gives it a very even grind, as all the particles are thrown around in the...

ann-marie: Lange haben wir eine simple reine Kaffeemühle für das Mahlen von Gewürzen oder auch Leinsamen verwendet. Aber so richtig zufrieden waren mit dieser Mühle nicht. Kurzerhand haben wir uns auf die Suche nach einer elektrischen Mühle gemacht, mit der bessere Ergebnisse erzielt werden könnten. Die Wahl fiel auf diese Mühle von Krups, die ausschließlich für Gewürze (oder auch Leinsamen oder Mohn!) verwendet wird. Das gemahlene Ergebnis entspricht voll unseren Erwartungen bzw. hat diese sogar noch getoppt. Und sie lässt sich sehr leicht reinigen. Wir reinigen sie nur trocken, d.h. wir benutzen ein Blatt unserer Haushaltsrolle. Das reicht und geht schnell, einfach und bequem.
