Get the Cuisinart DLC-1 Mini-Prep Food Processor today and make meal prep easier than ever!Bird Person: I put it through the mayonnaise test immediately and for the first time in trying to make homemade mayonnaise, IT CAME OUT GREAT!!! No signs of overheating or struggling motor, just perfection! Made a second batch using slightly different recipe and this one came out perfectly as well. The dual holes on the lid are a perfect feature for drizzling the oil during emulsion. Designed to give you air displacement during mixing it seems like this little machine is made for making mayo. Using a hand held mixer or immersion blender never worked for me; maybe the equipment is old and inferior, but this little unit does not disappoint! Highly recommend.

L. Caldwell: When I first got the product it worked and then didn't and it turned out it was my own fault. Note that you have to lock in the bowl part to the right and the top lid secures in the side hole in the top area. I have now used it with great results and would highly recommend buying it.

Jonathan & Meredith: I’m obsessed with this mini chopper. I use it all the time. My fiancé and I are vegan and are trying to eat as whole food plant based as we can. That means A LOT of food prep. We have a pretty small kitchen, so I can’t keep a bunch of large appliances around, and this has helped me chop up vegetables (especially garlic without getting my hands too smelly) for all sorts of dishes. The best part is how tiny and easy to store and move around it is! It won’t do big chopping jobs well unless you do it in multiple small batches, but for me, it’s been great. I highly recommend it to anyone with a small kitchen!

N. Goodrich:
The cup on this processor is nice and big enough to hold nearly four cups of food. The blades are sharp. It chops or blends, whichever you choose. The one thing I find disappointing, it is flimsy plastic.
I almost want to return it in exchange for a Kitchen Aide, which is heavier and
doesn't bounce across the counter.
I used it once, so maybe it's a matter of adjustment for me. It just doesn't feel solid, as in sturdy.

P. Zink:
Can't say enough good things about this mini-processor. I bought this one as an exact replacement for the same on I'd had for some years (inherited from my ex-wife) that I dropped or otherwise damaged. It's compact, simple to use, and the blades are so sharp they could cut fine silk (as Cuisinart warns you repeatedly; you really need to be careful removing and washing the blade fixture). The processor has very good safety features: you can't turn it on unless everything is clicked into place, including the lid. Two small holes in the lid allow you to slowly drizzle in liquid such as olive oil, making it the perfect item to make killer Caesar salad dressing.
It's small, which is good for saving counter space and for storage, but don't try to make dinner for 8 using it, unless you don't mind emptying it repeatedly! However, for a single man like me or for a couple, it's the perfect "must have" kitchen tool. And not at all expensive either.

BCT: It's a food processor. It's teeny tiny. It'll work fine for my purposes.
The one star off is due to the sellers sending out an item that had obviously been opened.
(Box was bent, wrapping was messy) Not happy about that but oh well.
Under normal circumstances I would've returned it, but I plugged it in and everything worked fine.
*Update* I almost returned this item because I thought it stopped working. Turned out I didn't have the lid on right. (Ooops) My recommendation for the manufacturer, take off the page of recipes and instead use it as a diagram for this design quirk. As yeah, I had the lid on other ways and it locked in place and seemed good to go. I was furious, thinking it was broken.
To their defense, they have this written in tiny print in the manual but it's not drawn out for you.
Anyway, as far as tiny food processors go, it looks nice and is compact enough for those with limited spaces. Just make sure you read the directions!
