Linda McCallum: This replaces a 10 year old one where the plates had become too hard to clean. I bought off-brand replacement plates in which the coating started to peel after a few uses. I returned them and, in looking for a new set of plates, I saw that the Griddler was on sale for only $25 dollars more than the replacement plates. What a deal! I ordered it and have used it once. It's exactly like my first 2 and it is a fantastic indoor grill and pancake maker.

Lady: Super Griddler! So easy to operate, whether you use it as a grill, griddle, combination of both, or a panini, The press applies even pressure across any sandwich bread. The sear function is super fast! The heat stays consistent and is very evenly distributed across each plate.. Once the non-stick cooking plates are cooled, they pop out easily with the press of a button. Place them in the dishwasher, for easy cleanup!. While I selected this for it's modern sleek design, I'm very happy with the function and quality!

SisterGSisterG: We have done grilled steaks on this, and it all works beautifully. The meat is seared evenly on both sides at the same time, and there is a lot less smoke, and no smoke alarm going off the way they always did when we used the stovetop. Works really great for Panini pressed sandwiches too. You can even use a burrito-sized Tortilla and do the Sandwich fold method if you prefer less carbs. Pictured are a Chibata roll Panini, a grilled Rib-eye steak ( remove early - continues to cook while resting) the steaks came out sooooo juicy and delish, and finally a Tortilla Panini. I also added the how-to diagram for folding the tortilla sandwich for pressing, so the fillings don't all fall out. (See the final photo). The only negative is the cord is very short. That will limit where you can set it up when in use. Otherwise, this is a really easy-to-use, reliable, easy-to-clean unit, that heats up quickly and maintains the temp evenly throughout the cooking surfaces. Works great. Glad I bought it.

CUSTOMER CONSUMER: We love this grill. We had a George Forman grill. We gave it away. We love this grill because it has plates that have two sides. It has 2 temperature controls, so you can control the heat for each plate. Do NOT put the plates in the dishwasher as the cleaning material eats at the coating on the plates. We easily clean the grill with two connecting sheets of paper towels in a layer of 4 of these together which we make wet and wring out the extra water. After we are done cooking and while the plates are still fairly hot, we clean the plates with these, which does an excellent job. This makes cleaning a breeze. You can use both flat plates or both grill plates at the same time or use one of each at the same time. The grill has never smoked for us. When you make hotdogs, you can smell the grill smell of grilled hot dogs. You can make all kinds of things, such as grilled cheese, eggs, pancakes, grilled sandwiches, burgers and all kinds of paninis. You can make many things as we also ordered the cookbook with it at the same time. The grill is made so you can adjust the height for the thickness of the food you are cooking. Hector PonceHector Ponce: Este modelo ya tiene sus años pero la actualización (modelo GR-5) es prácticamente igual en funciones pero tiene algunos malos comentarios así que no nos quisimos arriesgar y compramos esta. Estamos muy contentos con la compra y ya se ganó un lugar en el día a día de nuestra cocina.

La parte de abajo es hierro colado esmaltado en gris y la de arriba es acero inoxidable. Los acabados son de muy buena calidad y el producto se se siente bien ensamblado y bastante resistente. Las perillas no se salen y aunque no tiene la precisión que podría ofrecer el modelo más nuevo, la temperatura se puede graduar sin problema.

Las placas son de aluminio con un recubrimiento antiadherente que parece resistente pero que sí hay que cuidar. Se calientan desde atrás con dos resistencias y tienen un lado liso y uno con "rayitas" para marcar la comida y dejar que fluya la grasa. Las placas se remueven con mucha facilidad y se lavan como cualquier otra cosa con antiadherente.

Se calienta relativamente rápido porque las placas son de aluminio. Recomiendo poner la temperatura un poco mas alto de lo que supongan porque el aluminio se enfría rápido cuando pones la comida y...

❤️AlleyCat❤️❤️AlleyCat❤️: I purchased this Cuisinart Griddler because my husband and I just weren’t happy with our George Foreman Grill  George Foreman GRP1060B 4 Serving Removable Plate Grill, Black . It didn't have temperature adjustment, the drip tray would melt every time hot grease would drip in it (or after being put in the top rack of dishwasher), and it just wasn't big enough really. When I came across this one on Amazon with such stellar reviews, I thought this would be the one for us. So I ordered it along with the waffle attachment  Cuisinart GR-WAFP Griddler Waffle Plates .

I have used it at least ten times since I received it. So far I have cooked eggs, bacon, pork chops, toast, a Philly steak sandwich, and waffles (with the waffle plates I purchased separately). Everything has turned out great except the first time I cooked eggs on it because I didn't use cooking spray on it beforehand. So keep in mind that you will need to lightly spray the plates with cooking spray or use butter before placing your items on it that may stick.
