Adri: This cold brew machine is perfect and I’m actually enjoying coffee again.
The machine is super simple to use. My only issue is that you can’t buy replacement baskets. This is my second one & I wouldn’t have had to buy it if Cuisinart sold replacement baskets. You can buy every part EXCEPT the basket.

Charlie Myers: I love that this device takes only 30-45 minutes and it makes as good a cold brew as my 12-24 hour pour-and-wait method.
Cleaning is fairly easy, but there are a lot of pieces and a few tight corners. At least it's all dishwasher safe. The filter-basket is also a little harder to clean out by hand than I'd like - I wish the top and bottom came off. The secondary filter in the carafe is usually not needed, but it's a "nice to have" and you could theoretically put a paper filter in there too if you're one of the people who finds coffee oils to be a problem.
It's not as fast as a drip maker, but if you're making cold brew you're probably used to waiting a day (or buying wildly overpriced store-bought).
The water:coffee ratio recommended by the machine is ~1:25, which is OK... but I'd recommend not filling the water up as much as they recommend. I can fit ~65 grams of coffee in the filter, and it holds 7 cups of water - so it tastes a little too watered down. You can't use much less water or the water won't fill to the right point in the filter basket, so experiment. I've started to fill the filter to 65 g of coffee, leave it open in the machine, pour water up to...

Danielle Kawamura: This machine is brilliant! I got it because my husband and I go through at least 2 bottles of cold brew each week, especially in the summer months. We were trying to keep up with making our own, but between the prep and time it would take, we eventually returned to just buying it prepared.
This was actually a treasure truck deal that I decided to try with absolutely no regrets at this point. I actually did not have high expectations as the prepared cold brew brand we liked was pretty good (Stok), but figured it couldn’t hurt. We’ve had this machine for about 3 months now and it works like a dream. It’s very easy to use, (we didn’t even really read the instructions), and very easy to clean.
The most significant reason we love it is the flavor of having freshly made cold brew. We prefer either the whole bean Carribou Coffee or Kona Coffees and generally use the “Bold” coffee strength. The machine essentially spins longer for a stronger brew selection and less long for a milder flavor. We also tried using the ground version of these coffees but the flavor profile was much weaker and no where near as good.
For the pros I would say:

Holmwood: Before all other arguments, what kind of brew does it produce?
Crazy cloudy with a lot of sediment. Decent taste which is huge, though not as good as same beans brewed Kyoto style over 24+ hours. Now on to the review.
If some other rapid cold brew maker existed (from a reputable designer) then I'd rate this well under 3 stars. But Cuisinart has artfully hit a market that GE tried to play in (before vanishing) and only unknown Chinese companies are currently playing in.
The good: This makes palatable, even half decent cold brew in 45++ minutes. The cited 22-45 minutes isn't a lie; you do produce cold brew at those speeds, just seems better going for the max (or even, as some suggest, cycling through twice which we've not yet done).
Also good: this is pretty decently priced. I'd prefer to pay about C$200 [at discounted retail] for a much more solidly constructed device (including better filters, gears and more noise-dampening), but YMMV. Cuisinart likely isn't ripping people off at these prices despite the disturbingly cheap feel and noise.
So yeah, the bad: Noisy. Whir Silence. Whir Silence. Then, after about 10 minutes an incredibly annoying high...

Kelly Scott: Makes GREAT coffee, only thing I would change is the ability to program it.

Raven's Fan: Nothing like that feeling of something cold and wet hitting your throat, first thing in the morning.
This has been a welcome addition to our busy house, with a 2 Yrs. old and a wife in her 3'rd trimester.
The fact it makes bold cold brew in about 45 minutes is great. We typically have found that running it twice makes a stronger flavor and caffeinated beverage. We tend to run this for a few days and put the extra into a pitcher, that we have in the fridge, which works well for during the week. Super easy to use unit. Our fridge with a filtered water spout and ice maker is an ideal pairing, and has been instrumental to our enjoyment of this product.
Keep it icy.

Rachel: Dude this coffee maker is my favorite kitchen tool currently. It's 100% worth the money and more probably for the convenience it offers.
It makes DARN GOOD coffee and fast, too.
I use stone street Cold Brew Reserve, buy a 5lb bag at a time (with coupons 5lb is like $66). It's cost efficient and delicious coffee, you won't regret it. I use 1 cup of grounds for the max fill line on the reservoir.
Bold setting is what we use, it takes like 40 minutes and you have coffee for a few days. That's bonkers and you don't have to like PLAN IN ADVANCE and go without coffee all day if you forget.
Seriously if you're considering this little miracle machine... Get it.
