Top performance for the hardware.

Kristiyan Stefanov: I used this product on my ASUS Strix G531GU variant. Be aware that the G531GU motherboard doesn't support speed more than 2666MHz RAM, so you won't be able to use the full 3200MHz speed potential of this RAM kit. Even so, I bought it because it's a recognizable brand, has good memory timings, it's 2 ram sticks (I had 1 ram stick of 16GB, i.e. single channel, which I really don't like), and on top of all for its price - its the cheapest AND fastest RAM with great memory timings on Amazon as of currently (Q1 2022) for laptops. I'm sure this RAM would be a real killer if my motherboard supported 3200MHz, but I am very satisfied regardless.

Good ram for good price IF you have XMP support on your laptop. Otherwise it will run at 2666mhz 1.2v.
I didn't even realize and now its too late to return it..

RAR: I'll start by saying I almost sent this back. Not because I didn't want it, but because actually getting into my laptop was really hard. If you happen to have a pre-2017 model HP Omen, be prepared to remove a lot of screws, some hidden. That being said, I love this RAM. My Omen, while a 2017 model, was running perfectly with the exception of it needing a RAM upgrade. I took it from 12GB to 32GB. Now it's running like new. It goes from fully shut down to the Windows log-in screen in about five seconds now, compared to 10-15 seconds previously. Not a huge difference in the grand scheme of things, but a noticeable difference for sure. Once I was able to remove the bottom of the case, I swapped out the sticks in less than 15 seconds then booted it back up and noticed a big difference. I haven't gotten the chance to play any games yet, but I'm sure it's going to perform wonderfully. I recommend this RAM upgrade. Crucial is some of the best you can buy and the Ballistix is great.

CR: Used these to upgrade an older Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-51), which usually calls for 2400MHz memory. Replaced the original 8GB stick with this set and the new sticks run at 2666MHz (as reported by HWInfo), which is probably as fast as the machine will go, so this is expected. These work well for me -- no more memory bottlenecks.

Upgraded a new Asus TUF506IV from stock 8GB 3200MHz CL22. The Crucial 64GB memory installed easily, system PassMark rating was 4575 (compared to original 4490), and MemTest86 ran 8-10 hours with no errors. Sounds good, but on my non-XMP system it runs at its (non-advertised) JEDEC speed of 2666MHz CL20. So it is indeed solid, reliable memory from a trusted vendor, and increased my system's memory by 4x at no speed loss.
However, another vendor's product advertised JEDEC (not XMP) speeds of 3200MHz CL18 for a similar price. First shipment failed MemTest86 in the first hour. Replacement passed MemTest86 11+ hours and is now running at advertised speed, which lowers latency from stock CL22 to CL18. PassMark now scores 4793 (vs 4575).
My greatest disappointment is that a brand I trusted, Crucial, was not upfront about the need for XMP to achieve advertised speed. Maybe it's my own stupidity, but not everyone knows about that subtle difference between interchangeable XMP 1.35V and JEDEC 1.2V products. Their product support folks defend their website assertion that "it's compatible" with my system, by noting that it does indeed run and is...

After 8 years of hard work and dedicated service, my Asus R704A was finally ready for a much needed retirement. Having been accustomed to owning a laptop that was easily upgradable, I was disappointed to learn most new laptops aren’t built the same way.
I consulted with an expert (someone who knows more than I do) and found that gaming laptops are the only real viable option for top quality at the time of purchase, and the ability to upgrade in the future.
After purchasing an Acer Nitro 5 with a 10th gen i5 and 8GB of RAM preinstalled, I realized just how slow my Asus was. Even though it was light years faster already, I decided to go all out and max the RAM in the Acer with this kit. Installation was easy, and the performance increase is amazing.
The RAM shipped quickly, was packaged properly, and has ensured my new laptop is capable of any task I throw at it.

It’s pretty much unlatch some screws and things on the plastic panel. And then plug and play. I use this on my Acer nitro five GTX Nvidia 1080 TI. Boots up my games and software just about twice as fast. It’s good for me because I stream and before the upgrade my computer would crash a lot or just lagg out. It’s still has some loading issues but for someone who uses it for daily office work and minor software for office work there shouldn’t be much of an issue there. loading the Internet is also faster. Overall a pretty decent product you get what you pay for.
Personally for me though it’s just enough to scrape by. Note that the maximum ram my motherboard will run is 32gb. So if anything my bottleneck probably is my intel I7. Which there’s not much that I can do about it because it’s soldered to the motherboard.
