Cliente AmazonCliente Amazon: Tengo un HP Pavillon de 17 pulgadas que tiene un I7 y se me quedaba corto de memoria, sólo tenía 8GB. Ahora con la memoria de Samsung tengo 16GB y puedo ejecutar contenedores sin problemas.
En ningún sitio de la web del fabricante del portátil(HP) vienen las características técnicas. No sabía cual es el límite de memoria que soporta y el tipo de memoria. Tras buscar mucho en internet y ver que el procesador intel soportaba hasta 32GB de Ram. Me decidí a arriesgarme a comprar los dos módulos de 8GB para ampliarlo.
Me llegaron dentro de un sobre, dos cajas de plástico de las típicas en las que se meten las memorias. Estabán bien protejidas.
Me asegure de apagar el portátil, no vale ponerlo en hibernación, hay que apagarlo del todo. Pues el archivo de intercambio cuando arranques no te va a servir, es para 8GB en lugar de los 16GB.
Desconecte la corriente y todo lo que tenía enchufado al portátil. También le quite la batería.
Me puse la pulsera anti estáticas y la conecte a una masa. Saqué los módulos de memoria con mucho cuidado tocándolos tan sólo por los laterales y los reemplace. Esta parte aunque parezca una tontería te...

MICHAEL MERCURIO: "no complaints" is actually a better review than it sounds. I used this 8 GB DIMM to upgrade and bring a second life to an aging Lenovo ThinkPad. Installation was too easy and the price for this name brand DIMM was too tempting to pass up. Plus, it's the same manufacturer and part number as the RAM that originally shipped from Lenovo. It works perfectly. I'm glad these older, lower capacity RAM modules are still in stock at reasonable prices.

H: Home PC now works great after fitting this 8GB upgrade. Prior to installing screen took ages to load and locked up when on MSN.

Shankar: About 5.5 years back, I bought a HP Envy 14-u213cl model laptop from Costco, which came with DDR3-1600Mhz 12GB SDRAM and 1tb 5400RPM HDD WD Blue. Processor is 2.2GHz 5th generation Intel Core i5-5200U. I have maintained it well and used the laptop sparingly just to browse internet rarely and watch YouTube videos, since my workplace has given an office laptop. In recent days, the laptop's performance was going down. I replaced 4gb SDRAM with Samsung 8gb SDRAM, making the total memory SDRAM to the maximum 16gb SDRAM. I also installed Samsung 870 EVO 500gb replacing the OEM 1tb HDD. Voila! These 2 changes brought my oldie alive kicking with full vigor. Now the start boot time is less than 30 seconds (compared to 3 minutes earlier) and Internet browser speed also increased. Access to documents is faster. Watching YouTube videos in the laptop is delightful. I am extremely happy and delighted with Samsung products.
