Amazon Customer: Purchased these to make my Seac fins more comfortable during longer uses and they have accomplished that task. I was previously using UA socks, these are thinner and almost feel like they're not on. I've used them several times and seem to be holding up very well, including several long walks along sidewalks to get to the water.

Amazon___Customer: I was concerned about the seam from other reviews, but this is the only brand large enough to fit me (Size 13 US Mens).

If you wear them as intended and pictured, the seam will run along the center of the top and bottom of your feet, long-wise. That does prove to be pretty uncomfortable.

When I put them on, I have the Cressi logo facing my feel instead. This way the seem stays on the top/sides of the foot and it is MUCH more comfortable. I use these with water shoes to prevent blisters on my feet.

Heather: I bought these "Fin Socks" for my spouse. He's a mono-fin swimmer, but has difficulty with chaffing on the tops of his feet. He's been using these socks for over a week now and the blistered area on his feet have recovered. He's no longer experiencing blistering on his feet. He would recommend these to fellow swimmers.
One issue he's noted pertains to walking on pool deck - CAUTION, NO TRACTION ON A WET POOL DECK!
YOU WILL SKIP AND FALL ON WET SURFACES!

Pangolin: Excellent under boots. I don't dive all year and then do three a day for up to a couple of weeks. Invariably my boots end up rubbing a small patch of skin off somewhere on a toe, heel or side of foot. In the last couple of years I have seen people wearing thin socks like this, and they all said it stopped the rubbing. Tried these this year and it works. Wanted to order a second pair as back-up just in case of loosing one on holiday, but the normal Amazon uk page (sold as Cressi swim aqua socks) has been "temporarily out of stock" for some weeks so I ordered these instead. They appear to be exactly the same.
The UK ones are sold as "one size fits all" (or "one size fits most" on the manufacturer's packaging). The US ones are sold as S/M. Held against the ones I have the size is the same. The US ones say they fit men's 4.5 to 10.5. (presumably US sizes) - I am a UK 10 or 11 depending on shop so at least a US size 11, but this size fin sock is fine.
Oddly there is a seam running all the way down the middle of the top of the foot and back up the middle of the sole and heel, but this is not a problem at all and did not rub in any way.
