Horus R. IceRaven: Stepping across slimy timbers, rocks, and such. Have not found a better boot. Firm grip of the ground. Soul is firm for the sharp and pointed debris we commonly tread across. Keeps foot warm and safe. It could use a slightly longer Velcro strap, but that is a matter of preference rather then function. All parts solidly glued and stitched. Good strong product.

NatureGal: These are very comfortable. They feel like boots with an arch and thick soles with great tread. I live in FL. I prefer snorkeling wearing boots with my fins. I also kayak and canoe, so these are great water shoes, especially when we have to portage. I can hike in these when I get to an island that beckons to be explored. And, I love to go on swamp tromps, where we hike in the Everglades in wet areas. These are the perfect boots for all these activities!

Enthusiast: OK, here's the scoop on these boots:
Our use: for warm water and cold water scuba diving.
1. Great overall product if you want a more robust scuba boot that you're going to walk a bit in. Especially good for walking over rocky terrain to get to your diving water. Neoprene is a lighter density 6mm and will probably compress a bit or get thinner over time. I like the features of the rubber over the top of the shoe and the fin keeper. The zipper's pull and locking mechanism is made of plastic which I'm not sure about. We used ours in Scuba Pro type Jet Fins and they worked well. They are a great value too.
2. What sucks: Sizing:
7/8 Small: maybe it's my fault but we first ordered a 7/8 or small. What the heck does that mean? I took that to mean men's size 7 and women's size 8. My wife is a women's size 7 1/2 and these boots were WAY too big. In fact I'm a size 8 1/2 or 9 and I fit those boots.
4/5 X Small: again, I'm sure it's my fault but huh???? Since the small was way too big, I just ordered these and they fit my 7 1/2 wife just a bit loose and with a pair of 3mm neoprene socks they fit perfect.
OK, so all in all we kept both.
