accordiongirl: I’m a senior and have been daily lap swimmer, well, for decades! I have been using scuba fins for a number of years to build my endurance, strength, and bone density.
That having been said, I my prior fins, which I loved, same company, started to disintegrate, so after reading reviews, I decided to check these out. I ordered down, as per many reviewers recommended. Well, I LOVE these fins, but I could have sized down just a bit more. However, even slightly large, I love them too much to return them and wait for another pair! I’ve been using them for about a week now and I expect this “relationship” to last!

Entrano perfettamente adiacenti alla lunghezza della valigia da stiva e con un peso di poco più di un kg. In mare sono abbastanza flessibili e il ritorno non è molto accentuato. Una pinna che è ottima per il compromesso peso costo e tecnica. Se non erano galleggianti era meglio. Dopo qualche utilizzo impari a nuotare al meglio. Da ricomprare

DWales: My husband and I received our 3rd pair of the Pluma fins today and are very pleased with the Quality and our first test run in the pool. Once fitted to your preferences, these fins are flawless in the water and completely ideal for our needs in both snorkeling and free diving, in the warm waters here in South Florida and the Keys. While it is too early to determine lasting quality, first impressions are thumbs up.

Now, about the sizing. It really helps to know your true European size from a reliable source, either at home or at many stores such as a running store. This is a much more accurate sizing than the random lack of conformity in many U.S. Shoe brands where the sizing can be all over the chart. As we are also avid Vibram wearers, we already knew our sizes and find that many European shoe brands are sized more consistently within their sizing charts.

I am a true 37 and generally a U.S. size 7 to 7 1/2 depending on the brand. I ordered the size (4/5 ladies 6/7 EU 37/38) and found them to be too big in both length and width for barefoot use.
