Pictures show the colors during the process and after washing. Nice yellow color. Exactly what I needed.

Jack3: I couldn't find anything that could bleach or dye this synthetic wig I bought for a costume. As long as you follow instructions to keep water consistently hot it works like a charm. Can't say it's as vibrant as it shows but it did the job. This saved me thank you!

KelleyKelley: I used this color and super pink to dye this viscous/polyester skirt from a bright white to ivory. Looks great.

RUKSHANA B.: Use this to dye a polyester dress. Results were perfect. Managed to dye a very large maxi dress, and 3 t-shirts with this dye. Used the boiling pot method to dye

Savvy ShopperSavvy Shopper: I bought this to tint some curtains which are synthetic faux dupioni. Most synthetic fabrics will not dye with tradition dyes. You need a dye specifically for synthetic materials, such as this one. For an ivory tint, I used one tsp of yellow and 4 drops of red, to a full machine load of water, to create a perfect ivory color for the curtains pictured. I used the same ratio to dye white microfiber sheets (to a soft ivory) as liners for long sheer drapes in picture #1.

PROS:
Great color strength. Little to no bleed if properly used. Easy to do in a top-load, full water washing machine, or on the stove top in a Stainless Steel pot (follow included directions).

CONS:
I do not consider this a product drawback or a negative, but you should note that this (or any dye) is not good to use in a front-load or low water washing machine.

COMPS:
As compared to tradition dyes or many other brands of synthetic dyes I have tried, this dye does a better job.

VERDICT:
Good value for money. I can get many craft or home decorating projects done with a single bottle of this highly concentrated dye.
I hope you found this information helpful. Have a great day!...

RachelRachel: Some time ago, I saw a fabric with hot pink tips, and a pale yellow base. I was absolutely smitten by it, and wanted it badly! However... reviews revealed that they had poor camera quality, and the yellow was actually white. With this in mind, I purchased white and pink 'Candy Shaggy' fur with the intent to dye it. It worked out exceptionally well! Below I go over what I did in case you wish to do the same-

I had a large pot I use for dying fabric and other crafts. I would recommend going to Good Will or purchasing a designated 'craft pot' as I would be too paranoid to cook food in a container that once had concentrated dye in it. I filled it with enough water to let the small test chunks flow freely around in it, and added a dab of soap, and some salt. RIT recommends the soap, and someone recommended salt with their own dying experiences, so I did both.

I then heated the water to around 200 degrees then added a splash of RIT Dye More Synthetic. I wanted it pale so I didn’t do a TON. I imagine if you want an intense color you would need to use a lot more than I did. Do not boil the fur though! I hear really high temperatures can shrivel and warp the fibers! While I...
