Devin SharpDevin Sharp: Even though this product is made to dye clothing, it actually works really well when dyeing wigs for cosplay. Definitely going back to this brand for future comic con endeavors!

BeckyBecky: Worked perfectly on my swimming costume after it got bleached by over chlorinated water. I halved the quantities as I only had this one item to do, included the dish detergent, gave it 30m gently boiling but didn't stir it much and it's great. Lots of rinsing then in the washing machine like the instructions and I've got a saved cossie! Very happy as a bravissimo cossie costs £50+ and I really liked this one. The colour is lovely and nice and vibrant.

TaylorTaylor: Dye worked super well for getting the color I wanted on my horse's shoes. It took a while longer than the purple to get a good concentration of color in the plastic, but it came out EXACTLY the color I was hoping for. Threw some socks in afterward too and they turned out great as well. Best part, I can probably do 3 or 4 batches with just theb1 bottle!

bb: I used it to dye two phone cases. both of them were crystal clear flexible cases (TPU material). I used 4 teaspoons of Tropical Teal color plus one cup of hot water from a tea kettle in a pyrex dish. I didn't choose stovetop, I was worried it would warp the case. the water cooled as I used it, but it turned out fine. edit: several months later, these cases still look wonderful. the dye never wore off.
UPDATE: I've used the graphite color of this dye for several other projects. success varies depending on what material you use. the items that had a lot of nylon content worked really well, and so did one sweater that was 75% rayon. some socks that were 97% polyester did not take the dye at all. also, the projects where I was "refreshing" the color worked best -- for example: faded black clothes looked brand new after I refreshed them with graphite dye, but the white clothes I dyed turned out dark grey and slightly uneven. I'm not surprised, but figured I'd pass that on. basically, the more subtle of a change you're going for, the better.
also, consider the fact that mixed materials are going to give you mixed results. for example, thread might not take the dye as much as the...

erinstaleyerinstaley: I was excited to use this product. My outdoor patio set cushions were sun bleached and didn’t want to spend hundreds on new cushions. I had to buy a large 20qt pot and 4 bottles of dye to complete this project. My cushions are polyester, so the directions are much more extensive (as with any synthetic fabrics). I spent about 3.5 hours dying, 40-45 minutes boiling for each set/bottle of dye, which I don’t think was enough. I should’ve let it soak longer. I also did not have a thermometer to know if my temp was at 200°, so I was guessing what was “below boiling.” The directions are very clear, but complicated. Follow the directions and I think there will be no problems. This will definitely last me for this summer, and it has definitely evened out the color, but I was expecting more, but I blame myself for that.

Susan: Just as described, works very well. The instructions on the bottle are so small even under a microscope, it is best to follow the website instructions. Used one bottle for 8 cushion covers - it covered all of the cushion covers as described. it could have worked for more clothing no doubt.
