Bob C.: This thumb brace works well - once on the wrist. But as a person who lives alone, THAT can be a big problem as the velcro straps don't wrap around the wrist or thumb. They have to be feed through a "buckle" before they can be snugged up. That is just plain STUPID to get these on by yourself. Especially as they really are not long enough to leave them loosely attached when removed. Plus if you try to leave the two wrist straps Minimally "connected" then I can't get my wrist through the satin wrist strap that protects one from the harsh velcro on the skin. This mfg needs to change this to remove the buckles in favor of straps that wrap completely around the wrist/thumb and attach back onto them selves WITHOUT the STUPID buckles. Or, they need to make all three straps LONGER so they can be kept threaded through the buckles when the brace is not worn. BTW my wrist circumference is (only) 7.5". If my wrist were larger (like I suspect Drew Brees's are) I don't think this would even fit that person!

Stormy: I have arthritis in my wrist and thumb and it radiates into my fingers sometimes and my wrist. This brace is not only comfortable but, also easy to use. It really helped in decreasing the pain and keeping my thumb from locking. I am currently not having to use it but, this was after about a month of use. I should also mention that I have several others that I tried before this but, the Velcro kept giving out, I have not had that issue at all with this one.

pvshopper: I have arthritis in both thumb joints. Sometimes it can be very uncomfortable. This brace mobilizes the joint very well which helps minimize the pain. Love the fact that it can be used on either hand. A little bulky but still very comfortable. Easy to put on and off. Price is very reasonable and the brace seems well made. Just what I was looking for.

MTShopper: This is a simple design that is near perfect- works extremely well for immobilizing the exact areas that were triggering my carpal tunnel and trigger-finger pain. Along with changing my computer mouse settings (to avoid use of the painful finger for repetitive mouse-clicking), this has made working on the computer much more bearable again and I really notice a difference without it after a week of use.
Pros:
- Quality material, durable fabric
- I like how it braces further down the forearm, past the wrist, and all the way to the top of the thumb, compared to other brands that stop at the wrist.
- It is not bulky with extra material in the way.
- It is stable where it needs to be, leaves the rest of the hand and fingers free to move.
- And, it is so comfortable and breathable to wear and adjust - I sometimes forget I am wearing it!
Cons:
-Only potential issue may be the velcro thumb strap could be a little longer to wrap around larger thumbs - even though my hands are small and it works okay for me.
Overall, really happy with this purchase for thumb and wrist pain relief - I would highly recommend trying this product if you need relief from...

Eantha L. Haagen: This thumb brace looks fine, and is well made, but, as it only comes in one size, and that seems to be meant for a large man's hand, it did me little good. It also needs another velcro support across the palm of the hand or lower on the thumb to give good immobilization. If you are a man, go ahead and get this brace! But as a woman with smaller hands, I simply cannot recommend it. I am not going to return it, I figure I may be able to modify it for better fit later. It is not a bad brace, it just doesn't fit a smaller hand.
