JanetJanet: Installation was simple. Set up the fan speed according to instructions with fan on high. The fan switch controlled the fan just fine for the first few months, but now it will only work on high. Light control side works fine. Alexa integration works fine. You can ask her to set the light to a particular percentage brightness or off/on. You can set schedules to turn the lights/fan off or on when you would like. I set my fan to turn off a few minutes before I get out of bed every morning. The lights on the switch are pretty bright as they are LEDs. This lights the room at night when the fan is running in the dark. I cut a thin strip of electrical tape and put it over the LEDs. The switch still works with the touch capacitance while the tape is on it so there is no issue. Aside from the fan speed issue, I have no problems with it.

Gabriel: The install took minutes. It does what it is supposed to do. My issues is that the switch is touch based not button based. That slightest touch and it's on or off. I have other switches that you have to actually press in, not this one. The only other issue I have is the app. While smart life is ok, it is not exactly tailored for this switch. Other apps I have show you on off dim and so forth, same goes for smart fan switches. Plus it took longer to connect the switch to the app than the actual install. Luckily I don't have to go into the app because it's linked to google and that handles it for me.

jamie: Bought two. Seemed to work great at first. Then started noticing the fan speeds weren’t working correctly. In high it started humming and going slower than before switches were installed. Hum would eventually go away. Now one fan won’t work unless on high on high. No other speeds. This product looks great as long as you don’t need it to work.

L. Aungst: We had an electrician install these for us. Four of them. He told us that we would have to purchase LED lights in order for them to work which we did.The fan control works perfectly , however , the dimmers do not work at all. After going back and forth with the company , I was told that I would have to purchase different fans !!! It doesn't say anywhere that you have to have a special kind of fan !!! The concept and idea f these is good , however , the product is garbage !!!

truebluecoltsfan: Alright, I ordered this fan/light control to meet my needs of being able to control the fixture in my bedroom. I didn't see a need to have an extra remote on the nightstand if I could control everything from the wall or my phone which already sits on the nightstand every night. I read reviews and fully expected I might be returning this item. However, I am completely satisfied with this product. I'm not sure why other reviews are complaining about noise from the fan motor when set to high speed. I did not encounter this problem.

I am an electrician by trade and I'm not sure but I suspect the issue might stem from the fan not being set to high speed to begin with. By this I mean if everything is operating without this control, pull the switch until the fan is set to the highest speed. For reference, I'm controlling a hunter fan/light fixture and I made sure the fan was set to high speed and everything is working as advertised.

The setup for app control is a little tricky but you have to hold the small switch at the very bottom to the right for about 5 seconds until the power button under the fan control begins to blink. Then in the app, go to manual setup and choose...
