Alp: Might be better if they make it little heavier. It moves when you hit sometimes. Also rod can be few mm longer

Joni M.: Bought this little guy to accompany our new Breville espresso maker. It has been so handy and collecting our used coffee grinds. I love to garden and use my coffee grounds as fertilizer for many things. So being able to store them discreetly in this little cup, and then transfer them outside is great. Who knew I needed this!

NateNate: The media could not be loaded. For the price, you can't go wrong. Now, my findings:
Pros: This thing is super sturdy, you cannot break it. It's easy to clean, where you can remove the bar dump your pucks and wash it under the sink. Ironically, being small is both good and bad, good- it's easy to store next to your espresso maker.
Cons: it's on the smaller size, and why is that bad? I noticed that when I slam my protafilter against the bar, I typically make a mess. Now, I make less of a mess than when I did this over a trash can. I think a larger bucket would help you avoid that, unless of course you always have a perfect puck without any excess water in it that only requires a light tap.
Conclusion: I actually would buy this again and for a friend if I knew they were using the old method. In fact, I would actually buy this exact model over paying another $10-20.00 more to get one that matches my expectations simply because this really does everything you need as long as you know you will clean a tad of a mess up occasionally.

Dan Hugo: It's a knock box, it does what it's supposed to do.
It's slightly small (but that is in the name and description so no surprise), which means you'll be knocking your coffee against the rubberized knock bar, which means there will be coffee left behind on it. And, since the bottom comes to right angles, ground can get stuck in there and will generally form a layer of grounds that form a bit of a seal, requiring a bit of effort to get them out if you're not emptying it wet.
The knock bar comes out easily and the whole thing can be rinsed and wiped so it's not awful, but a rounded bottom would make for an easier clean of the box itself. You're pretty much stuck getting grounds on the bar, though, and that's what you get for going mini. I have a Flair and a steel pour-over and an AeroPress, rather than a traditional espresso machine portafilter with a long handle... were I attempting to knock the puck out of the latter, this would probably be too small to be really useful (the knock bar normally contacts the portafilter handle, not the basket, at least as far as I've seen). But for my use cases, there is no handle and so I knock the basket or equivalent against the...
