It is one of the best Espresso Machine Replacement Parts available, thanks to its superior packaging, size, build quality, and value for money.Donna Festaa: Makes great coffee. I use it at home and travel with it. I have replaced silicone seal twice. Filters are reusable. It is very simple to clean, good for RVs. I make the coffee my own way. 2 full scoops ( the Aeropress scoop), fill column with boiling water, stir. Wait a few minutes, then press water thru into 20 oz mug. Top up with more hot water So good! If you have trouble with pressing, coffee grind is too fine. It should be more coarse than drip. I use the crappy little coffee makers in hotel to make boiling water. I bring my own mug. Always a fine cuppa for pennies.

Russell Widdows: This was purchased to replace my old 10 year old Aeropress and I’m now having issues that I’ve never had before!
My issue, I grind my coffee beans, put my Aeropress together and put it upside down put my coffee inside and add water,( this is where my problem starts), it falls over while it is brewing! I have lost more coffee in the last week than in the last 10 years! It’s almost as if it is oval and not round!
But it dose make great coffee!

Delta Blues: I like my coffee and for years I have searched for the best coffee and gadgets to make the "perfect" cup. I've used the usual French Press, Moka pots, Espresso machines and various drip-type devices - all good in their own right. I purchased this AeroPress four years ago and, for one reason or another, left it unopened on one of the kitchen shelves gathering dust. Today, I used it for the first time, but not before studying lots of tutorials and writing notes based on advice from baristas, "hipsters/coffee nerds" and experienced coffee-heads on YouTube. For such a simple-looking, small plastic device, it sure is deceptive in terms of the fantastic high quality of coffee produced. The first attempt produced a very smooth, rich-tasting cup of coffee - I mean absolutely delicious! I plan on giving away my French press and a few other coffee devices since this has taken my morning cuppa to a new level. Please note that I do not get anything for this review. I also note that some people have a negative opinion of this device. The common thread with the negative reviews seems to be the fact that the fundamentals of making a good cup of coffee are missing. Making a cup of coffee is as...

Sneaky PotatoSneaky Potato: I'm not going to lie, I really thought this thing was going to be terrible.
I mean, look at it. It looks like a "As Seen On TV" gadget that promises to change your life but in reality is practically useless. How could an object that looks like a horse insemination device somehow make anything close to a good cup of coffee? How could I trust something that hipsters use to make coffee using water filtered through a shoe while hiking in the mountains? I asked myself these difficult but fair questions one stormy evening while contemplating my current coffee situation.
You see, I'd gone a little crazy over the past year with coffee stuff. First it was a nice espresso machine, but I quickly got tired of that due to all the work, prep, and cleanup required. Half of my shots came out great, the other half just meh. I wasted a lot of coffee making espresso, and most mornings I don't want to go to all that work. I then tried a Chemex, which produced good coffee, but was almost as much work as espresso. I even tried a nice automatic drip machine, which was easier, but the coffee quality suffered. I was about ready to order some bagged black tea and move to England to drown my...

Bizzy Liz: I have had this unit since Feb. 14, 2011. I have done hot brew and cold brew with this unit. I have followed the various Youtube videos to make a "hot" cup of coffee. Yes, temperature is critical. Then I have acidity issues since am "older" now. The last 3 years I have been doing cold brew. Yes, I viewed various cold brew method. The one I liked the best was Ree Drummond's video because she makes it in huge amounts (gallon or more size). My size is one quart size mason jars with the mason jar lids. I use 2 quart size mason jars. The night before I put in 1 oz (you can add more but no more than 2 oz) of your favorite coffee ground (it makes no different what size of the grounds) and fill it up to the neck with filtered or distilled water ( I have used cold filtered water from the refrigerator). Screw on the mason jar lids and set it on the kitchen counter to steep room temperature over night. I have done it for 2 days which is the reason I use distilled water. When it comes time to filter : used the 2nd clean/dried mason jar remove lid and ring set that aside, Placed the AeroPress as seen in pictures except no plunder, use the funnel inside the label column, carefully pour your...

d___y___: coffee being one of the small pleasures in life and my favourite accompaniment for any morning I've long wanted to perfect the way in which I have made coffee using my trusted bialetti stove top. but the bitterness sometimes over powered the flavour of the coffee, toying with the idea of a capsule machine dooda a friend recommended the Aeropress Coffee Maker.
on unpacking I wondered how the numerous bits of plastic could come together to make a decent cup of coffee. working through the steps in the instructions and considering the tips was helpful and after using the Aeropress Coffee Maker a couple of times I was able to make a seriously good cup of coffee! maintenance is really easy too, just give it all a rinse, making sure that the plunger is clear of grounds. its easier than taking care of the stove top as there is a whole lot less heat involved. I dont use the scoop at all as I have found a setting on my grinder that provides enough coffee for us. since buying this i havent used my stove top and I am not sure i'll ever go back to it!
I havent used this too many times to make 3/4/or more coffees, the one time i did it was a little tough to plunge. I'd also like...

ronin: I was really fed up with the poison the big 'coffee machine' at our office is making so I started to think about alternatives. Instant coffee is good, but just as the name itself suggests - for an instant (the moment when hot water hits the coffee powder in cup and you get the powerful aroma puff, which fools you for just enough time to get one cup down). Dripper is also a thing of the troubled past. French press is good, but it takes just a bit too much time and sometimes 'fresh' coffee is found on countertop in the kitchen corner of our office the next day (or day after the next).
So, when I read the Lifehacker article about Aeropress, I decided to try this out without further thinking. I mean, how bad could it be? The price is just about right, making a cup of coffee sounded quite easy and fast, parts of coffee maker looked simple to clean and robust enough so I could order it by mail without worrying too much. Well, it arrived today (day before the most optimistic estimate by seller) and I tried it out as soon as I got home. Making coffee was simple, not much mess and it did taste rather good. In my modest opinion, it tasted just about infinitely better than the tube...
