El título de la presente reseña resume mi opinión respecto a este producto. Considero que cumple con su función de forma adecuada y hasta eficiente a un costo accesible. Asimismo, pienso que es fácil de operar. El instructivo se encuentra en inglés y esto tal vez sea un punto negativo para algunas personas; no obstante, no hay mayor problema con el uso de un traductor. Cabe señalar que se deben hacer pruebas para deshidratar el producto que ustedes deseen con base a ciertos parámetros locales; sin embargo, pueden tomar como guía el instructivo o el recetario incluidos.

I bought my dehydrator in Aug 2022 and it’s only March 2023 - just 6 months of having this and the fan quit working. I would say I used often, but not all the time. I’m so sad that this was not a good buy after all. Not to mention the adjustment only goes by 9 degrees and makes that difficult to dry things when you can’t reach the exact temp you really need - who does that? Would not recommend.
I’ve come back to update my review because after submitting the above, the seller contacted me and wanted to make it right. They offered either a full refund or replacement and I chose a replacement. While I’m not crazy about the 9 degree increments, I do like my unit and I’m grateful the seller reached out to make things right - they didn’t have too.
Would definitely recommend to anyone who isn’t worried about the increment limitations - otherwise, it’s a great unit and the seller is too quality to work with.

Receive the unit on Thursday 3/2/23 and I had 7 lbs of prime venison pre-marinading in the fridge. Unpacked, washed and preheated the unit and as described in the UM. Loaded the trays and tried to insert the loaded trays into the unit. Trays barely fit and rub on door causing damage to paint/powder-coat. See pix, *remember this damage was the result of one use. I had to hold the door wide open with my elbow while inserting the trays. kind of a pain ITB and a simple redesign would make a HUGE difference. The unit itself "dehydrating wise" performed well. The 1/4" strips of venison took between 6 & 8 hours to fully dehydrate, most were done in 6 hours @158 degrees. As for its longevity, only time will tell. It would have been a 5 star home run except for the door thing! Thus my 4 star rating. Written 3/3/2023 Marty T.

Works exactly as intended. The shelves are annoying to clean due to the metal being thin and wired as well as wavy so it eats through brillo pads and similar. Super easy to use and comes with a recipe book.
DOOR IS IDIOTIC. The way they designed the door you can only get the shelves in and out if the door is perfectly perpendicular to the opening. Open it just barely too far and you can't get the shelves in or out. It's extremely annoying. Hopefully future versions take this into account. Everything else is perfectly functional and easy to use though.
Buttons are touch screen so we unplug the device to make sure the cats can't accidentally turn it on.
