Tony K: You must put in enough water to meet max fill and wait until it's vaporized! This work's well on most thing's but not everything? If you plan to use it while plugged in, you'll need an extension cord, and it will need to reheat during use.

D. B. S.: The product does function, however, the description is a bit overly broad as to what it can be used for.

If you plan on using this for cleaning hard surfaces - especially for cleaning for ex a glass shower door or tile - it is just fine. For upholstery? Not so much. If cleaning furniture you would be much better off with one of the many handheld carpet/upholstery shampooers.

I would have given it two stars on that basis alone - I am adding one more star because the unit is very well made. Just a poor description as to capabilities.

Sunshine8787: I’ve had this for about 3 years now & have been very happy with it. I’ve used it on kitchen counters, kitchen and bathroom floors for spot cleaning, stovetop, & for spot cleaning upholstery.

It heats up quickly and is super easy to use. My only complaint is that the water tank is smaller than I’d like. Big jobs require refilling once or twice, & I wait for it to cool a bit before refilling. If you need to refill immediately make sure to use a hand towel or oven mitt when opening the tank door, it will be HOT.

I’ve seen questions about steaming clothing with this- it’s doable but for $20 a handheld garment steamer will do a better job & be easier to use but this works in a pinch.

TG: Excellent if you want warm-to-hot pressurized water. Great for cleaning things like the showerhead. Not as great if you need hot steam. You need to fill it only a third of the total volume in order for hot steam to develop. The more you fill it, the wetter and less hot the steam becomes, until eventually it's just warm water. I would NOT recommend this if you need it for bed bugs. I WOULD recommend it for cleaning.

Raymond Chen: Love it. Works prefect! The only thing I didn't like is I have to use one hand to hold down the trigger for the steam income out. If only the trigger is close to where the stream nossle is. You can't hold an object and clean it. Example. If you have a glass out and you want to clean the underneath you can't unless you flip it upside down then out it down. Your other hand need to hold down the trigger for the steam to come out. Other than that it does the job.

TechniDom: I had an H2O ultra mop before but because of a clogged filter and no replacement parts arround, I had to buy another steamer. So this comment is a partially a comparison with the H2O mop ultra. The steamer nosle needs to be pretty close to what you want to steam, about 1 to 2 cm, not more as it is not really effective further for stains. The steamer also requires you to use your both hands, one to keep the button down and the other to use the nosle, that's where with the H2O mop Ultra, I did not have this problem. There is no way to leave the steamer "on" to free one hand to hold your part to be steamed in the other. The base is also very wobbly because of the wire and nosle hose weight so it does not stand with confidance on a counter top. There is no way to see the level of water left in the tank so when the steam seems to be slacking off, you do not know if it's because of a lack of water or if it's because of the angle of the steamer. All of these things take a good solid 2 stars off.

Now if we compare price-wise, I regret just a bit but not too much. For 35$ CAD, I could have had something worst and it did it's job for cleaning. The steamer comes REALLY hot after an...

Johnnie Umad: OK, before you use, read the instructions. So much people here complain about stuff that are written in the instructions!

The water needs space to boil so dont fill it up, use the included cup to add 250ml of water MAX.
The steam is hot, or else it wouldn't be steam: you just need to put the nozzle close to what you're washing.
Surprisingly, this thing lasts a long time, more than 15 minutes or normal washing - when you feel the steam getting weak, just let it rebuild pressure for 10 seconds and you're good to go. It gave me enough steam to wash a whole BIG shower or easily a car engine.
Power cord is like 8-10 feet long

I put 4 stars but it really can be considered 5 stars if you don't care for the following:
- it smells funny, probably because of the plastic casing heating up.
- the brush is good for garbage after 1 session of grout/tile cleaning so go buy some more brushes
- You will save time using this but it has a prep time of 3-5 minutes so sometimes it would just be better to get a rag and soap.

Appart from that, this thing rocks

Slim: Bear in mind that once you use it for 30-40 seconds, you have to stop for one minute for the steam to recharge, otherwise the steam shot is not as strong and results in inefficient cleaning/steaming. In other words, shoot; stop; shoot; stop. I am having an issue with the safety cap, I know the machine has to cool down first, but it takes such a long time and several tries (push? pull? turn?) before I can remove the safety cap and do another steaming job that I just give up at one point. If I can't remove the cap, I can't use the machine, right. The item is cute, otherwise efficient in its steaming, and doesn't take up much space. Perfect for someone who lives in an apartment. Delivery service was prompt.
