Shane and the Mercer Fam: I bought this used and when it came (which was a couple weeks sooner than the expected date) it was like brand new! I really like it and it has become one of my favorite Cocteau Twins albums. Bluebeard, Squeeze-Wax, and Summerhead are some of my favorite tracks :)

1曲目から通して聴いてみたのですが、大発見がありました。
それはM-3「Bluebeard」です。
映画「恋する惑星」オリジナルサウンドトラックのCDの11曲目フェイウォンが歌う「白昼夢」の原曲、オリジナルが収録されていたのです。
これを発見した時は、自分でも1人で小躍りしてしまう喜びでした。
コクトーツインズはギターを用いてシンセ、キーボードのようなアプローチなので良いと思います。

Album plays beautifully. Sound quality is A+ and the record has zero flaws. Album cover and inner sleeve are both nice and crisp. Love the design of the inner sleeve as well. Looks exactly like the pictures in the I Spy picture books I remember poring over in my childhood. Thanks for the sweet nostalgia and the dreamy, ethereal tunes, Cocteau Twins :)

amy graves: As an avid Cocteau Twins fan, I loved this album from the time it was released. Unfortunately, the CD had disappeared from its case or was misplaced at some point, who knows. I was eager to replace the beloved album, so I merely repurchased and downloaded it. It's so good, it was worth buying twice. It's wonderful to listen to it again after a long absence.

tomcruz: I love the CT and this and Heaven Or Las Vegas are my favourites. Yes I love the more upbeat CT. My fave trax r Know Who U r...., Bluebeard, Theft and Wandering and Oil of Angels. My only complaint s I wish there were more variations of the falsetto and soprano. There were a couple times where I think a lower pitch on certain parts woud have taken some songs to a higher level. This album is still brilliant and I have always been secretly hoping or praying CT would do another album like Heaven or Café. One last shout out 2 the cover art and inside booklet art which I find so creative and beautiful, I love it.

Philippe M.: I love early Cocteau Twins but this is to me Robin Guthrie and Elizabeth Frazer's pinnacle. The atmospheric coldness is leaving in favor of lushy instrumentations, summerly ambiance but without taking off the deep melancholic tone of the former albums and there is « Evangeline » and « Evangeline » is simply one of the Cocteau Twin's most beautiful composition that they ever made. If you don't agree, go drink a beer or a Piña Colada because I have nothing else to add.
