Ethan720: Works great, mainly use it for my kids night light at the dimest setting but it can be brighten enough to use for a desk reading light. I keep it plugged in to an outlet so not sure how long battery last.

Claire Elise Bergren: This light has got to be one of my favorite purchases ever. The ring of light and the clip are both very nice sizes and it's so cool that there's 3 different brightness settings. It works perfect for what I need it for. It does lose battery kind of quickly but in my opinion it charges fast and I only use it for like an hour a day to read and night and have to charge it like every 2 weeks.

Steven Tory: This light has a multi-level option, and comes with a rechargeable battery. But the battery cannot be charged while the light is in use, and no other charger is supplied. The short gooseneck makes positioning quite flexible. However, it may be hard to find a place to mount, as it has to be clipped to something and won't stand on its own. The clip/clamp opens wide and is strong, but I had to tape it to the desktop since I didn't have any place to clip it.

Ellen Eber: This is a feather - light lamp that clamps well. My arthritic, fibromyalgia hands had no problem with placing the clamp where it needed to be. The light is bright and there are 3 different settings to choose from for your preference. The neck of the lamp can be adjusted at pretty much any angle and it holds in place very well. This is a lamp I have used for reading, for extra lighting in my clothes closet, to add light up the hallway and stairs, - it’s a fabulous lamp light. you could even use this as a handy flashlight if you need to clamp this to something while you use your two hands to fix something. The light holds for about 5 to six hours on its own before it begins to dim out, so if you are looking for a light to shine without using the cord for 12 -20 hours at a time, this lamp doesn’t have that capability. You can plug it’s usb cord into an charging outlet and have this light on forever that way. Depending on your use for this light, and this light serves many many uses in many areas, this is a 4.5 to 5 star lamp. 4.5 because without the lamp’s usb cord plugged in, the lamp will give you about 5 hours of light. irene@AmazonOpenMarketplace: These are awesome lights, I love them :) !

2 things :

1) Don't plug them in and use them at the same time.
FIRST charge them fully - until the red light becomes green, THEN unplug them and use with battery power.
And if you want to use them plugged into an external power source, then remove the battery first :) .

2) The USB charging cables the lights came with didn't work well, plus they are short cords -
so I used my regular more heavy-duty and long charger cords. I buy these by the 5or6 pack from a 3rd party selling on amazon whose got great reliable cords. I do the same for my apple devices, I order thick sturdy long apple charge cords by the 5 pack. It took a couple tries to find a good supplier, but now I have usb and usc apple and android charge cords that last for a year+ consistently and its awesome not to have to scramble around when they suddenly conk out - good grief.

AND

3) The dim setting really does run for at least 10 hours!
And it's a nice glow! And the brightest is WOW bright!
These lights remind me of the old readinglights we used to use before led lights, they used more electricity but were great. Not led's , not...

Le seul problème est qu’elle ne garde pas sa charge longtemps. Et la batterie à l’intérieur n’est pas une batterie standard.

Elle ne fonctionne pas très longtemps à sa pleine capacité. Je l’utilise sur mon chevalet et j’aime sa versatilité et son petit poids. On verra si elle dure dans le temps !
