Replaced the cheap plastic spigot for a stainless steel spigot so the alcohol won't eat through it and to ensure purity of product. Beautiful design.

Harvey: Glass is thick. It is really sturdy. You might just want to tighten the faucet to make sure there are no leaks (by the way it's easy to remove and clean it too).

Venge: The vessel is an elegant holding jar for my continuous brew kombucha hobby. At 3 gallons, it is the perfect capacity, the opening at the top large enough to transfer a scoby in or out, and attractive enough to fit in well as part of the decor.

One minor con: The spigot that comes with it is made from questionable material in regards to using it for kombucha. That was replaced with stainless steel.

I highly recommend without reservation.

Harvester of Dreams: This dispenser looks great and holds plenty of liquids. The glass feels thick enough that I'm not worried about it's integrity. My only two complaints are somewhat minor. First, I found it hard to clean since I don't have a dishwasher available (though I suspect that the shape might cause issues if placed in a dishwasher). Second, I find the spigot to be rather cheap plastic. It hasn't broken in the month I've used it and I don't think it will, it would just be nice if something that otherwise felt to be quality charged the extra 5-10 bucks to make the spigot out of some sturdier plastic or cheap metal. Overall, though, I am happy with my purchase.

VegasMJfanVegasMJfan: I purchased the Cranston 3 gallon beverage dispenser to make Horchata. This 3 gallon dispenser is perfect for making and storing a large quantity of any cold beverage. It was packaged very well & secure to survive shipping without breakage! The glass is a nice weight and quality. It is not thin or flimsy at all. Its just the right weight of glass to handle the 3 gallons of liquid. It does get a bit heavy to lift once its filled with liquid, but thats to be expected. The top has a nice size opening to allow plenty of room for mixing/stirring ingredients. The lid does not come with a silicone gasket, but thats not a deal breaker for me. It is tall, standing over 16 inches with the lid, so I did need to remove a shelf in my refrigerator so it would fit. Again, with such a large container, thats to be expected. I did follow the directions by tightening the spigot before I first washed & used it. I have had absolutely no problems with it leaking....not one drop! I must say, I am very happy with this purchase and I highly recommend it!!!
