Becky: I saw this book on instagram and felt if was worth the try. Of all the books on this topic I've read (of which there have been a few), this one is the most concise, most truthful and honest, and most convicting one I've read. It doesn't try to cajole you into purity, it lays out Word of God and says here's the deal buddy. I found it really beneficial.

To briefly address the negative reviews that were upset with the author on his severe approach to lust, the Bible is very clear that various sexual sins will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Consider that if God were not as equally severe about sin, He wouldn't have sent His son. The book doesn't actually say lust makes you lose your salvation, what its message does say is sexual sin IS severe and should be met head on as such. Please... This isn't about fear of damnation, it's about taking the blinders off and coming face to face with our holy God to acknowledge that the only correct response to Him is 100% relationship with Him. On your road to a right standing with God, do you want to be cajoled or do you want to be free?

ARO: This book is amazing. It’s life changing. It speaks about things that are usually hidden in the dark, has biblical backing throughout and great tips. Only thing is that it’s quite raw and descriptive. It may be difficult for those with very imaginative minds! Other than that I think it’s a great book to help people overcome their struggles in this area.

Michael Shattock: I’ve been free from sex addiction for years but am always looking for new books to be able to help those around me. I’ve done a number of men’s bible studies on this topic. I loved the fact that Dane was very forthcoming of his past and the practical steps with God to overcome his addiction. I have recommended this book to a few of my acquaintances to help them break free of porn addiction
