Tom Muck: This is an upgrade to the pedal that came with my Casio piano. Acts much more like a real sustain pedal than the little switch that came with the keyboard. Has a nice feel, not perfect, but a great value for the money.

Josue: Muy buen pedal si eres una persona que tiene que tocar con diferentes teclados. Ya que cuándo lo conectas al teclado el piano cambia la polaridad del pedal y con el interruptor con el que viene incluido puedes invertirlo haciendo que funcione correctamente.

RMO52: Case is all plastic so be aware and protect it if you're hauling it to gigs. Works fine; having the polarity switch is a plus. Switch (on the side) is marked N.O - N.C. ("Normally Open/Normally Closed"). As a reference, Yamaha's and Alesis' pedals are Normally CLOSED as a default. Insides are pretty stout, wiring is thin but good solder connections. Spring loaded pedal. I'm using it as spare to my Yamaha FC4 pedals which are pretty bulletproof.

JFar: This worked very well at first, and for the price its good value. After a year, it stopped working and checking with a multi-meter the pedal's electrical switch had failed and it would no longer properly release. Don't know how to get a replacement switch - going to buy a different brand next time.

Dan from Morgantown, WV: I bought this to replace a Yamaha pedal and since it has a switch that can be set to normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) it is fully compatible. I am using it on an Piaggero NP-31. It's lighter than the Yamaha pedal, but doesn't slide around. That will depend on the surface you are using it on though. Every pedal I owned slid. Construction isn't as good a Yamaha, but I don't use it hard so I expect to last. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it isn't exactly a Yamaha pedal, but I recommend it.
