BrandonG: Shipped fast. Good quality. Was a direct replacement for an older version. Went up quickly and works flawlessly. It only comes with one remote. My 76 year old father will never use the blue tooth. But, between the wired switch and remote they should be fine.

Jeff: Found it fairly easy to install and setup following directions. Am impressed with how smooth it operates. Love the way it slows down inches before travel should end. Love how quiet it is. Do not like the fact you only get one remote. I hate this technology that tries to put every app on cell phone. People dont stop driving to open and activate the app. I can see many doors getting hit. Lost power. It was great to be able to open door with the installed battery. Really nice

Doggie BearDoggie Bear: The garage door opener is mechanically compatible with the Lift-Master 1146 from 30 years ago (see photo). I was able to reuse the T bar, trolley, chain, and ceiling mount from the previous install. I just swap out the head unit and the wall control button.
This unit is a nice upgrade from the LM 1146 with the following new features:
1) Light switch.
2) Battery backup
3) Built-in myQ hub (no additional hub needed) and myQ device (open and close the door remotely with the free myQ app)
4) Photo sensor for detecting obstructions
5) Key by Amazon compatibility (let Amazon deliver stuff into your garage)
6) DC motor with soft start and soft stop
7) Digital travel adjustment with automatic force adjustment
I'm docking off one star because:
1) The wall control switch doesn't have lock function, and its faceplate & screw holes are not compatible with the standard electrical box.
2) The obstruction sensor mounting hardware should be depth adjustable from 2 to 6 inches.
WARNING: The installation manual tells you to mount the obstruction sensor hardware to the garage door tracks. But when I did that the hardware protruded into the...
