Aiex Halo: A lot of the 1 star reviews complain that it stops working after a year or so. The same thing happened to me, at least insofar as it no longer works with batteries. It has a mini USB port that you can use to plug it in. Mine is 2+ years old and still works when it's plugged in, though it won't work with batteries at all.
The cuff labellings aren't too clear and it's not too firm so it's really easy for the strap to become misaligned with the metal link, leading to lots of crooked wraps especially if you're using it on yourself. The readings are reasonably fine, I suppose. I have only a doctor's office tests to compare it to, but there's so much variation to these tests. Sometimes I will get a reading that is too high because the cuff is slightly too crooked or too tight. It hasn't been hugely inaccurate so far.
