KenzieKenzie: These are great inexpensive decorative embroidery rings. I think they’re good for their price but I got one that was missing the little decorative handle. It’s not huge deal but the handles are a bit flimsy so I can see how they could break easily or be lost in packing. They’re a little tricky to open and get the embroidery cloth positioned as you put the ring back on. It might be easier to sew initially on a different hoop then transfer to these after you’ve finished sewing.

Tiffany: These are really nice looking, they look a lot better than I expected and people seem to really love them when receiving embroidery in these.
I have found that they can be a little tricky to use, since there's no tension pin to tighten. The material can tend to loosen/slide inside the frame, especially as you are getting it set for the first time. I worry that it will loosen over time, too, so I tend to take extra steps to sew a purse seam around the edge of the fabric in the back and tighten that as much as possible. I then attach a backing fabric to hide the tightening seam. It ends up looking very professional and elegant, but as mentioned I do worry about the fabric loosening up in the hoop over the years. We'll see.
I like the look of these enough that it's worth the extra hassle, though. I paid about $9 for the set and I think that's about the top of the price range for these to be worth it.

Be: I love these little frames! I wasn't sure if they would look as nice in person but they look just like the picture and now I have an easy way to frame and hang some of my smaller pieces. I was never a fan of the look of hanging the hoop itself on the wall but these frames look finished and match my decor so I plan to buy more at some point. I only wish there were larger sizes available so I could frame my larger pieces as well.

Sara M.Sara M.: UPDATE: I stand by my original review, but Caydo reached out to me and offered a full refund for my purchase, which is great customer service. Extra star added for their initiation of communication and offering the refund to resolve my issue.
I’ll start by saying it’s my fault for not reading the description thoroughly enough before purchase so I was slightly shocked at how small the hoops were. I was expecting larger in size. Again, that’s my fault. That being said, the quality is so-so. The wood colors aren’t even on the hoops. Some lighter, some darker and the oval hoop is not useable because the hook at the top for hanging it is not centered on the oval, it’s about a quarter to a half inch too far past the center line. While twisting the hook at the top on the largest hoop to make it tighter, the horseshoe shaped piece popped off, but did go back on pretty easily. It doesn’t hold a piece tight enough to be able to work on it, such as using it while cross stitching, but it will do the job okay to hold a finished piece. Overall, not super happy with the purchase, but not so bad that I’ll return them.
