Martha695: They were about 1/8” wider than stated, which was good for me. Easy to open and put back together after putting my heavy fabric in them. The screw closed the hoop with a small gap. I expected a wider gap given the thickness of my fabric.

Mark Major: Very nice for the price! Will definitely purchase again. These are much better than other hoops I've purchased. No blue wrapping on tightening mechanism, easy to tighten and loosen, and not splintery. I also feel that the inner circle fits pretty well, something that is rare for small, cheap wooden hoops. Buy these for sure!

Oregon Raven: These are reasonably well made, and there are no significant gaps between the inner and outer rings. No, they are not the same level as expensive birch hoops, but the price is much more reasonable for small projects. The screws on them work fine. I know people have complained about some blue plastic film on the metal parts on some hoops, but there was none on these.
