I ordered these hoops for the second year of Christmas ornament making and these are a slightly different size. They are also a completely different quality. These hoops don't tighten all the way and the screws are lopsided on every single one. A few are oval-shaped, which I don't mind that type of issue, but I'm disappointed that I have to now look for a completely different brand to start buying. I can't return at this point because I've opened them all up and not realized the issue until I've sewn on two of them.

Mallory Fritsch: These really worked well. I only knocked off one star for some minor defects like rough wood and really tight screwing mechanisms on some of the hoops (made some slightly hard to use). These did not affect my projects in anyway despite this. Overall a good buy if you need a bunch of the same size.
